Simple and cheap way to take nice pics for your IG
I got the idea to post this after answering a post from @Fabiano Rubiu... Last year I did this in Rome and Milan, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most fun and creative experiences ever. We spent the whole day taking pictures and got great content fro our IGs. Here’s how it works: If you’re in a big city, just open Booking.com, filter for 4-5 star hotels, and start browsing from the most expensive. Mark them on a map and plan your route. Then grab a friend and start your ā€œhotel tour.ā€ At each hotel, go inside, order a coffee in the lobby cafĆ© (they almost always have one), and take as many pictures as you can. Each coffee will cost you around €3–6, but think of it as your ā€œphoto pass.ā€ Before leaving, use the restroom to change into a different outfit (just bring a few in your backpack), then move on to the next hotel and repeat. If you want to step up your style, you can even go to a store like Zara, buy a couple of nice outfits (they usually refund returns, but ask them to make sure), use them for the pictures, and then bring them back the same day. Just make sure you keep them in perfect condition—labels hidden but not removed. Doing this you will always have new clothes on your IG photos. The best part? You don’t even need a professional camera. All my photos were taken with an iPhone Pro, and honestly, today’s phones can deliver results that are often better than a ā€œrealā€ camera unless you’re truly an expert. Also a pro camera might get you in trouble in the hotel lobbies/lounges, while no one would bother you if you take a few pics with your phone. It’s a low-cost, creative way to get high-quality lifestyle photos.

my problem is that I'm brand new in my city and all my friends are married with kids, so I don't even have a friend who can take photographs for me

@Yvam Nessyma you know, there's actually a language exchange event in one or two Meetup groups in my city. One of those groups has a weekly hike and a monthly pub crawl. I missed the crawl last weekend but definitely plan to go to next month's.
Where is everyone based out of?

Hey guys, any thoughts regarding these photos for IG fixing? Is it worth posting any of these? I know I shouldn’t be looking at the camera for the fourth one.

I like 2 and 3, and like someone else said, the 2nd one needs to reduce the amount of blue

Showing My Actual Lifestyle vs Just Cool Shots
I recently started participating here and I am in the process of fixing my IG. I have not updated it in about two years and half my photos are of my dog. What I am thinking about is how to merge the MOA framework with my real life. I understand the value of full body shots in cool, high-status settings, but my lifestyle includes golf, pickleball, hiking Forest Park with my dog, line dancing at the country club, and visiting the beach (or the 'coast' as locals call it). Would it still work if I focus on getting full body shots in those environments, dressed well and shot clean, instead of forcing club or lounge content every weekend? I live in Portland, so there are plenty of backdrops like rooftops, nature spots, and cultural venues to add that scarcity vibe. At the same time, I want to attract women who are into similar things as me, not just people who are out clubbing every Friday and Saturday. Has anyone else leaned into their actual lifestyle while still applying the MOA style of framing and presentation?
