Simple and cheap way to take nice pics for your IG
I got the idea to post this after answering a post from @Fabiano Rubiu... Last year I did this in Rome and Milan, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most fun and creative experiences ever. We spent the whole day taking pictures and got great content fro our IGs. Here’s how it works: If you’re in a big city, just open Booking.com, filter for 4-5 star hotels, and start browsing from the most expensive. Mark them on a map and plan your route. Then grab a friend and start your “hotel tour.” At each hotel, go inside, order a coffee in the lobby café (they almost always have one), and take as many pictures as you can. Each coffee will cost you around €3–6, but think of it as your “photo pass.” Before leaving, use the restroom to change into a different outfit (just bring a few in your backpack), then move on to the next hotel and repeat. If you want to step up your style, you can even go to a store like Zara, buy a couple of nice outfits (they usually refund returns, but ask them to make sure), use them for the pictures, and then bring them back the same day. Just make sure you keep them in perfect condition—labels hidden but not removed. Doing this you will always have new clothes on your IG photos. The best part? You don’t even need a professional camera. All my photos were taken with an iPhone Pro, and honestly, today’s phones can deliver results that are often better than a “real” camera unless you’re truly an expert. Also a pro camera might get you in trouble in the hotel lobbies/lounges, while no one would bother you if you take a few pics with your phone. It’s a low-cost, creative way to get high-quality lifestyle photos.
