Hello everybody. Im looking for some clarity on what it means to have a spiritual awakening. From what I understand an awakening is kind of like getting a glimpse of what’s real. You have a moment where you start to understand but it doesn’t necessarily stick. On the other hand enlightenment is where you understand and it has become a part of your baseline experience. Is that right? So as of right now I don’t think I’ve had any like ahah moments where I just understand everything (other than on psychedelics) but I have becoming increasingly interested in learning about spiritual practices and a lot of the things that ray says resonates deeply with me. What do you guys think?

Hi everyone. My names Sam. I’m a 21 year old student and I’m excited to be here. I find that recently I have been becoming increasingly interested in learning about these spiritual practices and experiences. I’m so glad I’ve stumbled into a place that’s meant just for that!

I feel these are not the same. Awakening means you realise the truth of you are not just your body, your identity; you are connected to ALL. Enlightenment feels like a further evolution of the consciousness; a final goal of fully dissolving the ego & being awake 100% of the time, for eternity...Big goal 😉 What do you guys think?
