Any reason to still use Tello instead of Red Pocket now?
Hi everyone, I am new to the community and reading through the Classroom articles right now. It seems that Red Pocket is the latest endorsed option here and is much cheaper than Tello. However, the latter's section is still preserved as a step in the intro guide. Is there any reason to still buy a Tello service? Is it more reliable to banks, etc.? Thank you very much!

Good question! It really depends on where you live & what your preferences are. Red Packet’s roaming in some countries are much more expensive if it doesn’t fall under free regions. Do your research :) & here’s $10 referral if you decide to get tello: https://tello.com/account/register?_referral=P3ZPNDX5
Shift from Tello to RP (Horrible experience)
I donot have positive experience in shifting from Tello to RP. I have two numbers viz A and B 1. I shifted one number A in March . They gave me 1 GB roaming as promised and WIFi calling was working. This was new purchase from ebay. Very happy 2. I shifted Another number B from Tello to RP . Process was very smooth from Tello to RP. But now the problem started. 3. WIFI 911 address was updated . I switched off the data roaming in this sim but its still using roaming balance in their app. Even though data is not getting used and wifi is in progress. As per them ATT does not allow wifi calling in 12 countries and my country is in that list but wifi calling was working in Number A how come number B does not have wifi calling. I wrote to them with this case and now wifi calling in number A also stopped wow… 4. Also as per them 1 GB per month roaming rental will only be available if you have roaming credit thats another new point. Thats promotional offer and not applied every ebay purchase. My point is Its cheap $30 per annum only but its good only if Wifi calling and 1 Gb roaming is working otherwise its is chargeable as roaming rates of that country and not that useful. Tello was expensive but everything promised was working One good point is IP address is always US. Now i have shifted from Tello not sure if go back to tello it can be activated as i am not in US there are some posts that outside US its not activated always My suggestion shifting from Tello to RP has hit and miss depending upon your country carrier. Think twice.

Approved for the Chase Freedom Rise credit card 💳
Update: Approved for the Chase Freedom Rise Credit Card 💳 Quick update on my Chase Bank setup — things moved faster than expected. After opening the account, I deposited the recommended amount to improve my approval chances for the Freedom Rise. Just checked the app, and the card is now officially approved and available. Current setup: - Checking account (NRA) - Chase freedom rise credit card with a $600 limit For anyone starting from zero in the US (no credit score, no history), this is a solid first step to begin building credit. One thing to note: 👉 It’s still not letting me add the credit card to Apple Pay, so I’ll likely have to wait until the physical card arrives and activate it first. Big takeaway: 👉 Funding your account early can actually make a difference in getting approved. Overall, pretty smooth process with Chase Bank so far. I’ll keep updating as I test limits, usage, and how fast the credit score starts building. If you’re going through the same process or have questions, feel free to ask 👇

Congratulations
Travel rewards card BofA
Just wanted to share a success story: A friend of mine opened a Bank of America checking account in Miami on Monday this week with a brand-new ITIN and deposited $2,300. Today, Friday of the same week, he applied for the Travel Rewards card and was approved instantly with a $1,000 unsecured limit. I was really surprised how easy the whole process was. It’s actually a pretty good card too: no foreign transaction fees, a solid exchange rate, and 1.5% rewards on travel purchases. The rewards rate is not amazing, but for international use the no-fee setup is perfect.
