Pre-Qualify Before You Book
Most contractors waste time on bad leads because they try to “sell first” instead of filter first. If you fix this, your close rate goes up without getting more leads. Here’s how to do it: 1. Add friction (on purpose) Your form should NOT be easy—it should be intentional. Ask questions like: - “When are you looking to complete this project?” - “Have you set a budget for this yet?” - “Are you the homeowner making the final decision?” This filters out tire kickers instantly. 2. Force micro-commitments Before they book: - Require full name, phone, email - Ask 1–2 qualifying questions - THEN show calendar People who complete this = higher intent. 3. Disqualify aggressively You don’t need more leads—you need better leads. Examples: - No timeline → nurture, don’t call - No decision maker → don’t book - Price shopping only → low priority 4. Set expectations upfront On your booking page say: “This call is for homeowners ready to move forward in the next 30 days.” This alone increases close rate. Bottom Line: Better qualification = Less time wasted + Higher close rate + More revenue per lead

@Anthony Quattro Maino Yessir :)♥️👊
Use Silence After the Price
Most reps lose the deal right after they give the number. They panic and start talking. Example: “The total investment comes out to $14,800.” Then stop talking. Let the homeowner process. The first person who talks after price usually loses negotiating power. Silence is a closing tool.

Daily Roofing Tip: Speed to Lead Wins Jobs
One of the biggest advantages you can have in roofing is how fast you respond to new leads. Most contractors take hours or even days to call someone back. But here’s what happens on the homeowner’s side: They fill out a form… Then they start waiting for someone to call. The first roofer who calls usually becomes the one they remember and trust. A simple rule to follow: Call every lead within 5 minutes. If they don’t answer: - Leave a voicemail - Send a quick text Example text: “Hey this is Mike with ABC Roofing. Just saw your request for a roof inspection. Wanted to reach out right away and see when a good time would be to take a look.” Fast response does two things: 1. Shows professionalism 2. Gets you in the door before competitors Speed to lead is one of the easiest ways to win more jobs without spending more on marketing.

Thank you Anthony for another positioning point I can leverage 😂👊
Managing stress is a learned skill..
Managing stress is a learned skill and it doesn’t come from changing conditions. Anything external doesn’t influence how stressed you are , the judgement you have about what influences the stress determines it. Identification of feeling stressed : No.1 The actual physical trigger/feeling No.2 What’s causing it? No.3 Is the reason the end? Is it absolute? It’s probably not , you’re not going to die , thoughts are thoughts, they’re not absolute. Your behaviour over a long term will determine your success , there will be top 10% days , there will be bottom 10% days , what you need to make sure is that the behaviour doesn’t change. Separate your internal feelings from the external conditions around you. When you feel stress , you do not need to behave stressfully. The plan is solid , we just need our commitment to the plan to be solid. External Stressor? Create space , What if this were good? What if this is normal? What if this is to be expected? What if this is just one of the bottom 10% days in terms of statistics? Something internally is off? Create Space , It doesn’t mean you need to act that way. JUST delay the speed between when you feel something and when you behave , the behaviours will be naturally more aligned with your long-term goals , just create space. Less emotionally reactive , more confident, being able to continue to do without being able to see the result of your doing. Embody this. Pressure creates diamonds. Be a diamond. You’ve got this.
