New Vegetable Garden Bed
I just planted a small raised vegetable garden bed last Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 and I can already see some growth. I have carrots and yellow beans in there this year. Maybe next year I will try other veggies too. I'm just trying to get something going outside to focus on and keep me a bit busy. I'll post when there's a little more growth soon.

@Jim Smith My Dad built it out of left over scrap wood from other little projects. I'll go measure it in a little while and let you know, I'm not exactly sure of the dimensions.

Balance Achievement
Earlier last week, just for the heck of it I decided to try sitting on my bed with my legs on the bed in front of me and put my arms in the air over my head just to see if I could do it very long, to check my balance. Well, I did it for over a minute but could have gone longer if I'd have had more time to sit there.

Sorry I missed this today. I really didn't want to but suddenly started feeling like crap again last night and had a hard time to catheterize myself to pee (sorry TMI but the truth) so I figure it's my bladder infection trying to come back from two weeks ago. I don't feel as bad as I did then, so going to get my psw working to go pick me up some cranberry juice tomorrow in hopes of clearing it without another round of Cipro. As for wins this week, I actually had a really productive day on Monday, got out and grabbed the mail and went to the drug store to pass in more repeats of my standing prescription for Cipro (I felt fine then, I didn't need to fill it). Even after starting to feel rotten last night, I pressed on and did a little over 10 minutes on my arm bike which was about 2.25 miles. So far it's been a good week until last night and this morning's episode. I'm feeling a bit better now. Gonna keep going with the arm bike later on in the day tomorrow and I should be back for stretches as I'll be up in my porcelain office.

April 9 - April 15: What is ONE thing youโ€™re committing to this week?
My goal for this week is to do an upper body stretching routine everyday for 10 minutes. My outcome goal (end result): to reduce pain (tension headaches, sore muscles and joints) My performance goal (how I will measure my success): I will get less tension headaches and have more range of motion in my wrists, elbows and shoulders As you can see I am ONLY focusing on my PROCESS GOAL, which is the ACTION/BEHAVIORS I will commit to. The other two goals are the result of my actions.

My main outcome goal is to improve my core strength so it will help me to lift my hands over my head to do things like shampoo my hair in the shower. I do have a belt now but would be nice to not rely on it at some point. My Process Goal is to research proper exercises to help with improving my core strength. My Performance Goal is to Implement these exercises that I've already printed off.
