News unbiaser chrome extension
I don’t know if this is normal but I’ve got about 5 SaaS MVPs sitting in my GitHub that I’ve never bothered launching because I talked myself out of it before I did it (mental health is a crafty minx.) Anyway, I tried ground news once and hated it because it’s all American news and I’m not in the USA. So I wrote a chrome extension that uses AI to remove the bias from any article you read. I’m sick of reading the left or right wing version of the news so this tool just rewrites the page as boring, unsensational prose. Currently I just run it on my computer and then connect the extension via localhost but I was wondering if I should splash the $50 a month in hosting and api fees and launch this thing with advertising/kofi donation for funding. I guess it’s just that I already have one product that’s costing me to host, if I launch this one that’s basically free, and relies on ads or kindness to fund, would people actually use it? Also, if you think of something I could do differently, say it.

@Damon Bree If it's cheap and fast to deploy, putting it out there is probably better for validation than asking whether people would use it. However, my gut instinct is that there is a very very small number of people who would use this after you consider how many people actually read the news, how many of those people read it on desktop in a browser instead of on their phone, how many of those people care to remove sensational prose, and finally how many of those people you'll be able to reach
How many times do you post on Reddit a week?
I was hoping for some advice! Without blowing my own trumpet, I would say that I am a relatively okay-ish writer. As a result, I have been able to rack-up over 1,000,000 views on Reddit and grow both my personal brand (that feels icky to say) and SaaS business by doing less than 1 hour of work a week. The reason why I don't post more frequently is because: 1) Reddit doesn't have a community feeling and therefore replies to asking for help need to be taken with a pinch of salt. 2) [MAINLY] I don't know how much it is acceptable to post and as a result, I can't see a path to scaling further than I already am... Has anyone got any experience or thoughts about this?

@Connor Jones These stats look good and were posted by an employee/contractor of Semrush, so they're probably valid https://explodingtopics.com/blog/reddit-users
SaaS API advice
Hey everyone! I've been loving reading everyone's insights and thier SaaS journeys. I've run into some issues and if love anyone's advice on what I should do: Some quick context: I'm building a SaaS tool for a trading card game that will allow users to fairly score and compare decks (even if they aim to do 2 completely different things). My initial gameplan is to run B2B and let other platforms use my tool via an API (to get my name out there before I run my own platform). 1. I have no idea if the API I have set up is built correctly for what I want it to do. (I'm not too code savvy) 2. I haven't had any luck getting B2B responses to my emails I appreciate any help on these issues and I hope you all have a great day!

To address #1, we'd have to know exactly what you want the API to do in order to begin understanding how to build it correctly. For #2, what exactly does your tool offer to businesses? If there's no substantial up-front value it'll be a tough sell, especially to businesses
