Thank you for this community and all your hard work building and making these concepts accessible, Miguel! I thought I’d introduce myself and share a little bit about my project with y’all. I began building a cobin last summer but have really limited time to work on it so I wrapped it in tar paper and tarped it during the last rainy season and now this one as well. I went a little rogue with the design which has introduced some issues. I’ve made a lot of mistakes along the way without this community but hopefully it will all work out in the end. I’m hoping to get some windows and a door and start framing them in during the rainy season so I’m ready to cob when the time comes but it’s not likely that I’ll find the time so this project may continue longer. What can I say? I’m one (very busy) human!

Working on the foundation for the 12 sided cobbin. Cleared the topsoil, added a couple yards of road base, placed the moisture barrier on top of that and now a couple more yards of road base. Helps to have a tractor and a dump trailer :-)
