@Kevin Rudd working on a big dashboard. combining food tracking / fueling as well. slowly getting there. outdoor activities also have weather info. based on my location & agenda. .
Athlete OS
I am currently using Athlete OS to guide me through my rehab after my Achilles teared in 3 places during the 86km Comrades Marathon this year. I use all the tools that is available and it was built using the classrooms. I cannot say it replaced a doctor or a physio or an actual coach, but I give it all the info the doctor and physio gives me and so far so good. It is now 4 months after the injury and I am running 10km comfortably at a very easy 5:50 pace. Only started some strides this week, but not doing any hill training yet. I need to be ready for a lot of running next year. Just a few: Two Oceans 56km, Cape Town 42km, Comrades Marathon 89km (down run), Cape 100km. So far I have been very impressed with the coaching I received. If anyone knows of clever ways to make the Athlete Coach up it's game, give me a shout please!

interesting. i've had achilles troubles after running some half marathons & +30k trails. recovery is slow.
Dashboard 101 & Coach an all the fun stuff
working on my own dashboard. tracking primary goal is better health. combination of cycling. walking, strenght training. have some hard coded weight restrictions before running can restart. it's a work in progress. (latest addition weather for outdoor activities) based on my phone's location.

Beta testers wanted: Workout Writer + Intervals.icu
Hey everyone - I’ve been working on an app called Workout Writer, which turns plain-language running and cycling instructions into structured workouts for Apple Watch, Garmin and, now, Intervals.icu. The bit that might be especially interesting to this community is the macOS MCP/CLI interface. It lets AI agents create, schedule and manage workouts directly. With the new Intervals.icu integration, those workouts can also be sent to Intervals.icu and synced onwards to compatible platforms and devices. I've been using it with Claude on macOS for months, and it's been great for helping me stay fit whilst I can't run, but will really come into its own when I'm training properly again. Anyway, this is my own project and it’s still evolving, so I’m keen to get feedback from people experimenting with AI-powered training workflows. I’d love your help finding rough edges and shaping where it goes next. You can join the TestFlight beta here - completely free for testers: https://testflight.apple.com/join/2VcH6wZQ General info here: https://workoutwriter.com

Welcome to Athlete AI. Introduce Yourself!
Glad you're here. I'm Kevin, an ultrarunner & triathlete (Leadville 100 was my most fun race). I'm not a tech guru. I got curious about AI, realized I could build training tools tailored exactly to me from my own data, and it actually worked. Now I want to teach you to do the same and connect with people building cool things in fitness with AI. That's the whole idea: learn something genuinely interesting, build stuff that's truly yours, and do it alongside like-minded people. Zero coding required. Five steps to start: 1. Introduce yourself in the feed. Something like: "Hi, I'm Steve, I run trail ultras and can't wait to build with AI!" 2. Complete the intro poll so we know we can build the content around what you want: Athlete AI Poll 3. Watch Start Here course (top of the Classroom). Two minutes. 4. Do Day 0 in the 7-Day Challenge: Set Up Your Workshop. 5. Post in Wins as you finish each day, tagged (#Day0Ready). We celebrate every one. The setup day is the hardest part, and we get everyone through it. Stuck? Post what you tried and someone (often me) will get you unstuck. Let's build. Follow the road to The Rut.
