Penhaligon's Bold Blend Eau De Parfum is my go to scent today. It's a fresh, green, woody fragrance. Not cloying at all and has such a beautiful dry down. Perfect for my day in the office.

@Antonio Cent it really is. I'm usually not a huge fan of mint notes but this one works so well especially with this heat in Alabama.
An Accidental Backup Bottle?
Has anyone else ever accidentally purchased a backup bottle of fragrance? 😁 While looking for a deal on a particular bottle for a friend the other day, I stumbled across a great deal on Elysium by Roja Dove. I thought to myself that it was the lowest price I'd ever seen. I tried it out last year - a travel spray from FragranceNet - and know that I liked it but, more importantly, my wife loved it. So, of course, I immediately ordered a full-size bottle. When it arrived, I immediately opened it, sprayed a little on my arm, and set it on my bathroom counter. I've been wearing it regularly for a couple of weeks now. A few days ago, we cleaned the bathroom - so everything was put away, at least temporarily, for the cleaning. Yesterday, I decided to restock my countertop with my daily necessities and my most-worn summer fragrances. All of a sudden, I noticed that there were two bottles of Elysium sitting on the counter... As it turns out, I had come across almost just as good a deal ($4 more) on Elysium in November, ordered a bottle to have for this summer, and completely forgotten about it! Has anyone else done this?

Sounds like an amazing problem to have lol
Legitimate Newbie Question…
I realize there are a lot of variables that can affect how we interpret a given fragrance. But can specific fragrances smell different depending on a person’s mood or possibly illness or maybe emotional disposition? I tried a fragrance awhile back and really didn’t like it when I first smelled it. A few weeks later I tried it again and I actually liked it better. I also tried a fragrance a couple of weeks ago when I was dealing with some sinus headache issues and didn’t like it at all, but now I find it somewhat appealing. I guess I’m wondering if individual fragrances ever come across differently to a person, depending on that person’s circumstance at the moment. Just curious! (stock photo)

Absolutely great question. Just like Raymond, I had to wash off Encre Noire and give it away to a friend because it caused me immense nausea and I got kind of dizzy from the scent. Funny enough it was a blind buy that I was extremely apprehensive about.

Today's Gym Scent
Headed to get a workout in and I wanted to smell like Capri. I keep a bottle at home and this traveler in my bag so I can reapply as needed on the go. I am in love with Light Blue Eau Intense.
