Snatching Failure From the Jaws of Success
I did it again…. I can’t seem to stop screwing myself after I hit my daily profit target. This has been probably the 4th or 5th day that I’ve successfully hit my goal early in the day only to go back to it later in the day, take a bad trade and wipe it all out. While I’m encouraged that I’m able to see good setups and take enough good trades to “win the day” it’s extremely frustrating to then turn it around and make it a loser. I’ve told myself not to do it. I’ve practiced and failed at discipline. I continue to work on that skill, but does anyone have any suggestions or methods they use to avoid overtrading and wiping out profits? I’m not giving up….it’s a journey. I’m trying to see growth and progress daily. Thanks!!!

I have had the same problem. I literally have had to just close my computer and walk away to stop myself. Especially when I see other areas I have marked out being hit I’m thinking this is a sure win but then find out it isn’t.
Moment of Transparency:
Today I lost. I am in the red today guys. Here’s what I did wrong: I over leveraged I over traded I revenge traded I broke all of my rules. I traded news. I knew we would have a move up. I bought and the market moved so quickly at 8:30 it hit my stop loss and then immediately moved back up. All of this happened in about 5 seconds. I was impatient. I should have waited for the market to show me the upward direction and get in at a better time. This is also my journal entry for today. If I can’t hold myself accountable for what I am doing wrong I will not be profitable and achieve success with trading. I knew better. But I live to trade another day so I will stay positive and work hard to move away from bad habits.

That’s the thing I am waiting for a confirmation to say account is closed or does my amount go back to zero. I don’t know it’s just saying I’m not allowed to place this trade but I still see the money in there. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Apex eval account advice
Hey guys so I keep getting this message on my eval account. Is that what happens when you have exceeded your drawdown limit? My 50,000 account current p/l -996. What notification do you get to know your account is failed?

@Matthew Redick ah I think that’s what has happened then. Thanks Matthew. So no notification then right?
Trading view premium?
I am trying to use the Trading View replay option to practice. It keeps prompting me to do the 30 day free trail. It seems the replay option is extremely limited with out a plan. Has anyone else run into this?
