Hello everyone, I’m Robyn. I live just outside of Boston and am part of the MPGA team, supporting design needs. I’m really excited to be part of this new community we’re building together. Outside of work, I work(design) more, experimenting with vibe coding and other AI tools, playing golf with my 13-year-old son, gardening, playing music, and spending time with my family and two dogs.
This hit deep…
After reading the work of the Wholehearted Parenting method by Julia Oh, her constant reminder of children being like “melting ice…” we as parents cannot slow down the growth and aging process in our kids. Enjoy them… give them time and space to be. This reel of a mother of high performing boys reminds us of that! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DN52moZDPMX/?igsh=MXd3aGZjbG5rcGhlYQ==

I feel this deeply. My son is growing so quickly, and I carry this fear I can’t quite shake... wondering if I’m doing something wrong, not doing enough, or focusing too much on teaching instead of simply enjoying him. This is such a needed reminder to slow down and let him be.
Letting go
I just wrote this text to a student because it was something I needed to practice and hear myself: “Take a few minutes today to sit quietly and meditate on the words “letting go.” Breathe in, say to yourself “I release.”Breathe out, say “I let go.” - Let go of control. - Let go of expectations. - Let go of what already happened. - Let go of what needs to happen. Notice how your body feels when you give yourself permission to release. The more you practice, the lighter you’ll feel.” What’s one thing you can let go of right now? Write in the comments 👇

Thank you for sharing this. I’m letting go of the need to have it all figured out and just saying that out loud feels good...
