Tracking Nutrition
Hey there! How are you tracking nutrition any tips and suggestions? In your Day in a Life video you used Macrofactor - how did you set up the app as the app does not take workouts and kcal burned into account. I find the app so much faster and better for tracking than my fitness pal. Also my fitness pal has a lot of inaccurate food data especially here in Germany. I read in the comments that you tried a lot of diffrent apps - do you have any secret horses? :)

@Christian Jüttner hello mate, I recognise myself in your questions, I have sent you a private message if you want to talk about it deeper !
Post what you want -
Yo everyone! As people are joining now, I thought it’d be a good time to put this here. As things grow, this might change, but for now I’m happy to answer any questions you’ve got. Genuinely, ask me anything you want to learn. Nobody knows everything, and before any of us started cycling, we all knew basically nothing about the sport, even after doing it for 5 years I’d still say I used to know very little vs what I do now. So whatever your level—whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been riding for years—ask away. If I can help, I will. 🙌

Hey, Love your content so far and looking forward to the others videos. Have you ever use Hexis or FoodCoach (apps that are used by pro team) to optimise your carbs timing not only during the day but on a larger picture (like 72h) ? I am wondering if those apps can provide a significant value compare to regular tracking app like MyFitnessPal.

@Charlie Meredith Yeah it could be leading to an event or a big weekend (I’m training for ultras) but it’s basically a carb loading phase. I was mainly thinking of the 72h period to work with a caloric deficit. For example, if you have an easy day tomorrow, dinner could be lower carbs but if you just had a big day you also have to replenish to recover… so I am always a bit in this circle. An other ideas might be to aim for a deficit in % of your daily expenditure (lower deficit on recovery days and bigger on harder days) but I’m not sure that’s optimal for recovery compared to a standard constant deficit of 300-500cal. What do you think about it?
