Alberta Diesel days
Well went out yesterday to Alberta diesel days for the Saturday events. The racing got rained out. But we still had a good time. Next year I think it time to come out more. Hope see some guys.

@Eric Fuller when I get this online thing figured out I will start doing events in the states. That’s where all the cool stuff happens lol
Something a little different.
Kingpin | Madman Developments https://share.google/x4K36IsHabrDBp0l4 In my opinion the lack of inputs will likely make its negligibly better than the spring and star wheel but what do I know. I'd at least like to see rpm in and maybe a gear input

It’s a interesting idea that for sure
Front cover
Plan on taking the front cover off to do the kdp. What’s a good seal kit for the front cover?

What to prioritize
Im finally working through my long list of stuff to get done (moving gravel, pouring concrete, builond a small shop, finixng and seel8mg an NA Miata, ec ,etc, etc) so I can get my 2nd gen. Im looking to build a 600-650 rw hp 4x4, wirh and automatic, extended cab, long bed. I would *prefer* a hydroboost, but i assume I can retrofit. Given my hp desire, ive been told a 160 pump wont work ata ll, and that a 180 pump cpupd be iffy. (I have a list of parts including head, tuebo, cam, etc, that should get me there), but I have one question/concern: how to get a 215 ppump? I can get a manual trans, then have to get a 47/48 RE core, and reconfig for an auto, which is a ton of work on top of my alteady substantial list, or I have to find a 215 pump in the wild. The places ive called all need a 215 pump as a core. (I guess the 215 pump cams are scarce?) Ive seen a couple 215 pumps listed here and there, but folks want $2000 or more for a stock/unlmolested one that will still need another $2k in parts and rebuild. Thoughts or suggestions?

I will make a video on the 600-650 hp thing next week if thats cool. The 160 pump will make 600hp. Just the 180 /215hp make the power easier. If you have a 160hp pump I would just have it built into a 215hp or a 12.5mm pump myself. The hydro boost you can just swap one from a new second gen in. On the trans that’s what you want. I got sick of breaking the standard trans myself. But some of that is how you drive. I guess am hard on parts I guess. Lol

@Jeff MacDonald you don’t need a core. The plumbers and a cam to put in your pump.
Where can I get a dyno done?
And how much does it cost. Looking on google and it seems that there are only a couple places in Calgary with not much information. I just want to know where my truck stands with the tune I’m using.

Honestly not many places that do it. My dyno is unhooked for the move. So I am no help. Maybe try unlimited performance

Welcome! Whether you’re here to pick up a few tips, show off your build, or hang out with other wrenchers, this the place to be. Enjoy!
