Cylinder Head Freeze Plug - 12 Valve
I thought I could thread these but I’ve got the wrong tap. Can someone give me the size of these freeze plugs? Either for tapping or freeze plug replacement
Early fan hub pulley & clutch
I’ve got an industrial block, so it came with a direct drive fan pulley. Fan pulley - 4 holes Fan pulley hub - 4 holes - the “nub” is not threaded Fan - 8 holes I’m trying to install a fan clutch, most the ones I’ve seen have a large nut style mounted to the fan pulley hub. My fan pulley hub is 4 holes and no thread, however, I can find rockauto has a 6 hole with threaded nub. That part solves, but then I need to get a 6 hole pulley, and I cannot find a part number for it. Does anyone have a part number for 6 hole pulley? It seems I can only find 4 hole pulleys for sale like the one I already have

24v tappets with my cam
12v with Colt cams big stick. Colt sold me 24v tappets to play nice with the cam which I believe they are a 24v core regrind. It has been brought to my attention that the tappets have a socket for bigger ball end 24v pushrods. I've bought trend .080 chromoly stock replacements for a 12v already Will the small ball play nice with the 24v tappets? If not Would 24v pushrods play nice with 12v rocker arms?

I think the only thing about 24v is the tappets might interfere with fuel pump lobe if you have one? Not 100% sure but I have heard about that. I think 24v tappets are 1.5”, but someone there sells 1.44” ones which allegedly clear the fuel lobe
Block Clearances with ARP studs - General info
I’ve emotionally pulled the trigger on some ARP 14mm main studs. I was hoping that they wouldnt mess up my bore much, but check out the results. Before ARP with OEM bolts Vertical - 3.4639 Horizontal - 3.4650 After ARP Vertical - 3.4631 Horizontal - 3.4650 Can I run this if my oil clearances are ok? I did a rough measurement and they’re about 0.003 which is in spec

Ok major updates. First few things, I found difficult to measure the crank mains with a micrometer. Skill issue. I’ve torqued ARP to spec one cap at a time and measured diameter of the crank lobe, then I zeroed my dial bore gauge to that measurement, then measured the main cap (diagonally like the manual says). I had to do one cap at a time because my bore gauge can’t measure deeper than 2 caps. After everything, I dropped the crank in and plasti gauged all the mains. Plasti gauge showed about 0.0005-0.001 tighter than all my measurements. With my freshness, I wonder if plasti gauge is more correct. I’m worried that there is too much clearance on the sides now as well. I’ve also bore gauged all the cylinders. There is a significant taper, but maybe because it was horned with a torque plate?(hopefully) After cleaning the block, I also noticed a line in the cylinder. At first I thought it was a crack, I’ve sent pictures over to the machine shop, and they told me it’s a sleeve, which is something that wasn’t disclosed to me when I got it, just “machine as needed”. It weird to sleeve just one while the whole block is bored 40 over.

@Robert Winkworth This is the measurements with bore gauge, The plastigauge was done right on top as otherwise it would fall down.
Rocker Arms
I am unsure if I can reuse my rocker arms but they are not cheap these days so I was hoping someone could chime in and tell me if these need to be replaced, need to go to a machine shop if I can find one that knows what they are doing, or if they looks good to go. They feel smooth and slide on and off no problem. This is my first rebuild on this project 96 12 valve. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
