Price Points and Sales & Discounts
Hi Everyone, A bit of advice needed regarding price points and sales & discounts. My prints start at £21.99 for an A4, I also have a 20% OFF sale currently running so my prices start at £17.59. This is still not resulting in many sales but I am getting plenty of visitors to my shop but they are not buying. Do you recommend lowering the prices a little and keeping the sale or lowering the prices a lot and maybe 10% OFF sale or stop the Etsy Offsite Ads and lower the price by the 15% I save. There are loads of scenarios so I would like you opinions on what methods have and have not worked for you. I am not after cheap click throughs to my Etsy Shop but if you need to see my listings to help gauge the price point then my URL is https://www.etsy.com/shop/wallartprintcompany
I've just hit the Launch Button!

Trademarks, copyright and intellectual property are definitely things to be aware of, as Etsy is very active in this area and takes rights protection seriously.

I was well aware of the issues with Trademarks, copyright and intellectual property when designing my prints. I slipped up as I didnt notice the smallest of BVB club badges on a cushion in a mock up. I received a message/email saying your listing has been removed. What annoys me the most is that Etsy is saturated with listings that include football club names, stadium names and other memorabilia from football clubs and they have not been removed. These listing will obviously rank higher in searches as well.
Is AI art becoming too saturated?
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some honest thoughts from people who sell digital products, printable art, or AI-assisted designs on Etsy. Do you think AI art on Etsy still has long-term potential, or is it becoming too saturated? I’m also wondering whether the next generation of buyers may start avoiding AI-generated art, either because it feels less authentic, too common, or because they prefer human-made/handmade work. For anyone selling in this space, what would you focus on now? Would you lean more into personalization, bundles, physical products, templates, stronger branding, human-edited designs, or moving into a different niche altogether? I’d appreciate any honest opinions from people who have seen trends rise and fall on Etsy

I had a comment saying “AI slop,” which I found quite interesting because the original image was actually a photo I took myself in Santorini. I then worked on it through ChatGPT several times until I was happy with the final style and finish. AI-assisted artwork is now a huge part of Etsy and the wider digital art space, and it is widely accepted when used properly. For me, it is about taking an original idea or image and developing it into something decorative, polished and suitable for wall art. I even ran this reply through AI. It is incredible technology, so why not use it? For me, AI is simply another creative tool. The value still comes from the idea, the direction and the final result.
Have you seen your prints?
Has anyone actually seen one of their prints in real life? I’ve launched a shop this week and intrigued to see what they look like. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MelonPrintsStudio

When I set up the Etsy Shops I ordered from Printify and Print Shrimp to test the delivery time and quality. Print Shrimp won 👍
Don't doubt yourself, keep going! 🤩
Just wanted to encourage those who may doubt themselves during this journey. Success can happen if you focus on building your shop with listings and great customer service. I started in September last year and currently have over 1k sales (including my website). PrintShrimp has been a key factor in delivering quality products and customer satisfaction! 🚀

I have two Etsy Shops with 257 listings between them. It is hard to keep listing more when sales are low. Is more listings the answer? At what point do you call it quits and change direction? Visits to my shops are good and Pinterest has been great as a funnel but if no one buys then it is either the quality, no one is interested in this niche or the price. https://www.etsy.com/shop/wallartprintcompany https://www.etsy.com/shop/TFEFootballShop
