You also have to keep in mind that whole GHL wants us all to believe that it really is a one-stop solution for all aspects of this (and to sell it to clients that way), it's not. For example, a colleague here in Texas recently told me that he had a client who recently scheduled a week's worth of posts in advance before leaving for vacation. He came back to find that none of what he scheduled had actually been posted because the connections broke inside of GHL somehow. He was pissed... and understandably so. These platforms really want you on their platforms while you're posting, so getting help from them to fix these problems is just a waste of life. As another example, as an old SEO pro, I can tell you that hosting a WordPress site on GHL is a no-no. There are too many things you CAN'T do in a GHL-hosted WordPress site when it comes to SEO that you CAN do outside of GHL. GHL is solid when it comes to the CRM. The rest.... let's just say I always have a plan B ready to go!

I just want to clarify what I said above, Y'all. In fact, I almost didn't even post my comment because I didn't want to give anyone the impression that I'm walking away from GHL, or that I'm encouraging anyone else to do so. That is SO not the case! I've just learned that - as with most things - it's best to expect the best and prepare for the worst. FB, IG, X, LinkedIn can change their requirements at any time. GBP technically allows posting, but every time I try posting for one of my clients, they automatically reject me - even when I'm posting from their site! They can do whatever they want anytime they want, and all we can do is roll with the punches. As an SEO pro, I've lived through a dozen or more changes in algorithms on ALL of the major search engines. So, it's always best to have a Plan B in place, including an SOP for exactly how to execute the backup procedure. Again, "Expect the best, and prepare for the worst!" Hope this helps!

Question for Austin
Hey @Austin Mariglia . So I have been watching your videos on YouTube. I see lots of different ways to make money with GHL. I am torn between leading in with Database Reactivation (ie: I have an AI tool that turns your older cold data into new appointments.) OR the AI Bots (ie: I build AI bots that follow up with your leads so you don’t have to.) Which is your "Go To" lead in to make the most money the quickest? I want to hit the ground running with this and torn between which one to go for. I can certainly offer both, but looking for the path of least resistance! thanks!! (others feel free to chime in too;)

Interesting post, @Michael Johnson. When you suggest "reading Russell Brunson’s DotCom Secrets and studying email sequences," is the email sequences pare within his DotCom Secrets, or is that piece of your recommendation elsewhere? If the latter, what source material do you recommend for the email sequences piece?
