Preliminary study

Hello everyone. This is a preliminary study for a larger painting. It still has many issues to address... My question is: How can I make the light in the foreground of the painting more realistic? I would be very grateful for any tips!

@Mak Olvik Thanks a lot! I’m going to try your suggestions. I painted this as a test piece in acrylic since it’s easy to make changes. I’m still not satisfied with the colors.
