This guy accused me of cheating and blocked me because he played bad
He wrote in chat that im obviously cheating and my history somehow makes it clear. I managed to get a nice center and win a piece through a pin. He went on to lose a couple more games. (I dont have screenshot of it right now) https://www.chess.com/live/game/146103838110

@AV the ultimate Skooler
I have a really important question to my friends here rated above 2000 elo
Can I understand why there is no focus on taking the pawn on H4? In this position arjun(white) played Qd2. But I don’t understand the logic of this move. To me, it occurs as a blunder cuz once the h4 pawn falls, the g5 pawn also falls and the pawns on the g and f file can easily promote with the help of queen. I need someone to explain to Me why Qxh4 was not even played Btw black just played knight e5 to c6. And white to move so white played Qd2 and I don’t understand why you don’t take on h4. Generally also when I watch Gothamchess there are games where free pawns and he doesn’t even take a plays another move. I need to understand the logic behind these type of play by grandmasters

I'm above 2k elo! The main reason why Anand didn't take on h4 is because the move is incredibly risky and there is better alternatives. 1...Qh4 2.Qe3+ white gets out of the pin and threatens Nxf7. Black also needed to calculate scary lines like 2.Nc4 threatening Nb6+. Anand's move is the strongest because 1...Qxd2 2.Rxd2 Ned4! Black would threaten Rxd6 and Re8 pinning the bishop, black is much better here. Hope that helps! 💪

Congrats Dan! 💪
Lost
Bad endgame loss at my peak but at least I know my weaknesses now. I was winning but I blew the game on an endgame. Gotta sharpen that. I did very well at the start though.

Good thought process. Post the game!
Getting Back On The Horse!
Hey everyone! I’m 1073 in rapid right now and planning to play a couple 30-min games today. Any tips on what I should do to prep beforehand? Warm-ups, routines, whatever helps you lock in.

I would recommend to warm up with some simple checkmate in 1 and 2 moves. Make sure to review your games after!
