Hey everybody, happy Sunday! Herschy here. Today isn’t just the last day of the month — it’s the start of the final stretch of the year. And if you want to finish strong, you’ve got to decide: 👉 Are you going to be a champion in your business and your life? I’ve been fortunate to win championships before — from golf leagues, to graduating top of my F-16 class, to scaling businesses past revenue marks we’d never hit before. And every single one of those wins came down to two things: Focus + Dedication. The truth? You only have about 90 working days left this year. Will a GBP appear for searches close to the business when the service area is much wider?
Hi ! If a business specifies in their GBP that their service area is nation wide, does their GBP have a good chance of appearing when someone physically close to their location searches for their service (assuming the GBP is well optimized for that service)? For my agency, my GBP doesn't show up when I search for terms such as "digital marketing". I am wondering if it's because my service area is all of Canada and the USA, but I don't show my location because I work from home.

I run my agency from home as well but just use my home address. I've picked up many clients over the years from my Google business listing. Nobody has EVER asked to come by my office. They want me to come to them or we meet at a coffee shop. Don't be afraid to put your home address down. Especially since COVID many people work out of home offices.

@Les Cseh nobody has ever mentioned that being a problem to me! Maybe if you are going after really big businesses but the smaller ones don't care.
