🛡️ The Noble Masculine & Smart Funny Tortured
The events from earlier this week compelled me to put down my thoughts surrounding the idea and presentation of masculinity and how it relates to Smart Funny Tortured. It begins with a simple observation: what we often see modeled as “strength” from positions of power isn’t strength at all—it’s aggression, bullying, and insecurity. That’s counterfeit masculinity. And counterfeit masculinity breeds shame. But here’s where this connects to our Smart Funny Tortured framework: - Smart → Real strength begins with clarity of mind. Not just intellect, but discernment. Knowing the difference between counterfeit power and true sovereignty. - Funny → The noble masculine carries lightness, joy, and flow. He doesn’t need to crush others to prove his worth—he can laugh, connect, and play without fear. - Tortured → Many of us grew up under bullies or systems that mocked sensitivity. Our pain here is real. But it can be reclaimed as fuel—for empathy, for courage, for protection. This is reclamation in action: taking back the essence of what it means to be strong, and refusing to let shame or bluster define us. 💬 Community Prompt I’d love to hear from you: - What moments in your life have shown you the difference between counterfeit strength and sovereign strength? - How does this idea of the noble masculine show up in your own Smart, Funny, or Tortured story? 👉 Watch the episode on YouTube: https://youtu.be/9ts0oTK0UCI?si=J3OptG1j4S23hyli And then share your reflections below. Let’s model what sovereignty looks like—together.

I loved this post and sent the reel to my husband and brothers. They too are noble men. The most honorable of the sacred masculine. It is so powerful to see you stating this so clearly and powerfully. #grateful. This administration hijacks nervous systems intentionally - activating shame, fear and rage to keep people so distracted and brain impaired that they can’t think or feel clear. It’s first class verbal abuse tactics on steroids. The quiet revolution is to step out, center, calm, and reclaim our power from within. SFT is a powerful tool of rebellion. 💪 (btw I recognize I did not answer ur question…I will think on that and return. But wanted to say thank you for the post first!)

A new chance to show up. 👉 What’s your essence flag this week? - SMART: A skill, strength, or focus you’ll sharpen. - FUNNY: A source of joy, flow, or play you’ll choose. - TORTURED: A shadow you’ll face and use as fuel. - Declare it below. This week my plan is to access the tortured modules - I’ve been putting my head down, plugging away at building out more of my thing, and hitting the emotional peaks and crashes that come with stretching into bigger versions of oneself and the great unknown. I have also been revisited by some of my more darker angels. Looking forward to turning their intensity into fuel. I can almost feel it wanting to shift, but have a sense that the modules will be the fire on the pile so that everything can get warmed up and I can move with more power fueling my actions. Feeling ready for the slow that nurtured the vision to make room for some speed to initiate more forward- moving action. Remembering I can have both settings! 🔥💪✅
🎥✨ Healers, Fixers, and the Hybrid Human We’re Meant to Be
There are two kinds of people in the world: Healers and Fixers. Healers are the ones we fall into—They notice what we’re holding. They ask if we’re okay. They meet us where we are. Fixers are the ones who get us home. They see what needs doing and just do it.They act. They solve. They carry the bag at 2AM. But the people who change our lives—and the ones we can choose to become—are both. They’re the ones who know when to hold and when to help. The ones who meet you in the wreckage and help you climb out. Today’s Smart + Funny Fusion Workshop is a live experiment in becoming that kind of human. Smart = your brilliance, strategy, perspective. Funny = your joy, your flow, your ability to hold.Together? They begin to unlock your range. 🌀 And yes—beneath it all is Tortured. The part that knows. The part that made you pay attention. We’ll go there soon. 💬 Reflection Prompt ( Drop in below ⬇️ ) Which one do you naturally lead with—Healer or Fixer? And where might you grow by integrating the other?

@Rose Pribilovics I feel you 🥰. It’s hard cuz we have been raised by society to only feel our value if we DO something concrete and we r also in a world that hasn’t valued that holding someone’s pain/vulnerability until they can steady enough to see THEIR way forward IS doing something. It is doing something really powerful and revolutionary. (I could go on and on about linear processes, our idolization of faster=better, and systemic oppression here but I’ll spare you 😆) I was hearing you feeling an uneasiness about the urgency to do something unasked for and just wanted to offer that I believe that the fact u can sense it comes from the teaching you received in childhood is beautiful. Those forces are real and deeply embedded. I wanted to just offer you this - If the fixing doesn’t feel attuned, but instead is coming from this urgency, then these are forces to check. You will know which or all that you are (Fixer, Healer, or Both) by the state that brings you that deep sense of calm knowing in the storm of someone else’s pain or struggle. It’s visceral. Embodied. What matters is that you bring you and it’s ok to not know what to do if you don’t. Often, the pause to be with another, making room for them to reflect, assess, feel, and be still in “what is” until, or even IF, an action is necessary is precisely what is needed. And sometimes it’s a cup of tea and a casserole and a suggestion or two. You totally got this! 💜
Hello-
I am new to all of this and find it intriguing and terrifying at the same time.

@Carllie Jaxen 🥰 I love another swirly mind - especially one that comes with the energy of just doing the thing. (He wanted to be a thought leader and just did it. Inspiring.) We all gotta have our wayshowers. Keep rocking it out there dear fellow SFTer 😀 - 💜
😂 Defiant Joy from the FUNNY Workshop ✨
Tonight’s Funny workshop was pure magic. The laughter, the honesty, and the moments of awakening to the pursuit of pleasure to activate joy reminded us why this pillar is so essential. Thank you to everyone who showed up with your humor, your stories, and your light. Share the light that stayed with you—whether it was a breakthrough about joy, an insight on flow, or simply a moment that made you smile. Your reflection could be the medicine another member needs today. 🌟 🗓️ And remember: these workshops are not about perfection or completion—they’re about connection. You don’t need to have every worksheet done to join. Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and your willingness to play. Check the Calendar tab for the next gathering (September 10th at 6PM). Until then—drop your takeaways below and keep spreading the joy with your Smart Funny Tortured family. 💫

@Branka Gittens I did not make it to the meeting, but oh - thanks for sharing this - and especially for the dry bag lunchbox image and story. Joy is catching…and you paddle-boarded it all the way on to dry land as I sit on my floor - such sweetness and glee in this mental image. May the bag and snacks within continue to bring you joy! 🙌 😆

Hi all! Wanted to share an happy 😃- After the workshop last week, it really jumped out at me how out of balance I was in the pleasure/play department. Tonight I left a meeting early and had the impulse to go to the rec time at our outdoor community gym pool - not to swim laps, not to perfect a stroke, but just and only to Play. I have always loved a pool even tho I’m not the best swimmer. It’s just divine to me. So I put on my suit, walked out to the deep end to not disturb the family on the other side - and I dove and flopped and wiggled and looked up at the beautiful stars, and went underwater and came up, just letting my body do what it wanted to do, without regard for any humans on the second floor treadmills who could be watching. I felt complete joy and it felt…magical.
