You Cannot Pour From an Empty Cup.
We live in a world that never switches off. Notifications, deadlines, demands — technology has blurred the line between business and life until there's almost nothing left in between. And most of us are running on empty because of it. But here's what I've come to believe — real leadership starts from within. Not with a bigger strategy or a better system. It starts with the small, quiet acts of taking care of yourself first. Rest. Move your body. Step away from the screen. Embrace the challenge in front of you instead of running from it. These aren't soft habits. They are the foundation of confidence, clarity, and the kind of presence that makes a real difference — in your business, your relationships, and the world around you. Small acts. Consistent choices. A better version of you — and a broader impact on everyone you touch. Aslam This week's reflection What is one small act of self-leadership you can commit to today? Drop it in the comments — let's hold each other to it.

I'm going to finish the two most important things on my to-do list today. 1. Assemble the desk for my office 2. Write a back of the napkin business plan for 2026

@Aslam Khatri News Flash: EVERYBODY is getting old. Having said that, I completed the two tasks I had set for today.
This Community is About to Get Boulder.
I'm going to be honest with you. For the last 100 days I've been showing up here every single day. Same commitment. Same consistency. But starting today — I'm sharpening the message. Less inspiration for inspiration's sake. More tools, more truth, more things you can actually use to perform better and build better. Same values. Sharper edge. Stick around — it's about to get more interesting. What's the one thing you wish more people talked about honestly in this community? Aslam

Most People Think Their Biggest Problem is Strategy- It’s Not
It's the voice in their head telling them they're not ready yet. Not qualified enough. Not experienced enough. Not the right time. That voice isn't protecting you. It's keeping you small. Your thoughts are running the show whether you manage them or not. The question is — are you running them consciously, or are they running you on autopilot? High performers aren't people without doubt. They're people who learned to notice the thought, question it, and act anyway. That's the real work. Not the tactics. Not the tools. The upgrade happens between your ears first. Tell me honestly — what's the one thought that keeps showing up and holding you back right now? Short, punchy, and designed to spark real conversation in your community. Want me to write a few variations so you have a rotation ready for the week?

It took me a very very long time, over half a century to overcome my mom's verdict that I was brainy but not smart. There is no blame in the above statement. No blame for her, no blame for me. We are all on an evolutionary journey and we grow in the environment in which we are placed or find ourselves. It's a process. On a separate note, @Aslam Khatri I found out yesterday that there is a young lady who owns a school community who just turned 81.

Tuesday – Small Habits, Big Results
Great change rarely happens with one big decision. It happens through small daily habits. Reading a few pages. Walking a little more. Learning something new. Practicing patience. Small habits seem insignificant in the moment. But repeated every day… they quietly reshape your life. Ask yourself today: What is one small habit you can begin today that your future self will thank you for?— Aslam

Monday- The Truth about Habits,
You cannot create a new habit unless you let go of the one that is holding you back. Many of us want to improve. We want better routines, better discipline, and better results. But two things usually stop us. First, we are comfortable with our old habits. Even when they don’t serve us, they feel familiar. Second, we become impatient. We expect change overnight. When the new habit doesn’t stick immediately… we fall back into the old pattern. Real change doesn’t happen overnight. It happens one small decision at a time. Question for today: What is one habit you know you must leave behind in order to grow? Aslam

@Aslam Khatri Like you I grew up walking in the old country and love walking. No, I am not a Marathon runner. I did walk cross country from Chicago to LA over a six month period. Roughly 2800 miles. That was 10 years ago in my early sixties. I have been putting off doing videos about my epic walk, thogh I do have a few on my channel. Here is the Playlist
