🤯 This or that
Hey Goosified Geniuses, I need your help. I started a community, but growing it seems to be impossible. People in "my" RL don't know skool yet, they hesitant to join. It is a special topic (transformational breathwork) and I get it: People love the offline experience and so on. Discussions might be intense and very personal due to the nature of my work... There is another topic hat floats in my brain, which people probably relate to easier and people might jump in easier. (I have some autoimmune conditions, trying different approaches, keeping myself as healthy as possible and so on. This is the central idea to built around.) It would be easier to make it a fun community about the second topic, bc I am quite serious about breathwork. I WANT it to grow. I WANT it to be great. All of that. But I seem to stand in my own way. Q1: Is it a good idea to start a second community now? Or is it the dumbest thing to do? Q2: How can you bring playfulness in a serious topic like overcoming trauma with breathwork?

@MaryBeth Ramsey I would go in and add value to improve their community with no expectation to get anything. I would also be upfront with the community owner. Maybe not straight away but after a few weeks when you’re showing yourself as a model citizen, then reach out and explain you’re in the same niche and it would be great to connect. Naturally if you’re helpful people will check out your profile and you’ll become known. I think we should think about how we’d like to be treated if someone joined our community and then behave like we’d want others to behave with us. In my experience, if you’re good and you help then business will come.

@MaryBeth Ramsey I think a neighbouring niche or a complementary niche could work? For example, I do executive function coaching and many of my students also pay for tutoring so this is a complementary niche. It’s only an idea. I guess setting up your own free and just focusing on adding value in there is another option. If the groups good people will invite others and it’ll grow.
Wingman help
I installed wingman and then I think some update occurred and I needed to sign back in and I lost the template messages I'd set up. No biggy as I can re-create them but then I tried to connect my communities and it says the extension my not be set up correctly. So I deleted the chrome extension and now I'm not sure how to re-install it? I think I'm probably a bit thick but not sure what to do next. I still see the Goose symbol showing in Skool....

Need some help with Wingman please 🤞 The Wingman CRM is in my group, but no data ever populated. Must be a connectivity thing?

@Gunta Skrastiņa OK great. Do you have an onboarding video that talks through the onboarding steps? Or is it only available in real-time live calls?
