How is everyone? I hope you’re all well. I thought I’d pop my current treatment in the forum to see if I could possibly get any feedback at all please. ( I am still stuck on exactly how the treatment should physically look on the page. So I have divided it into the three acts. ) - I have read a few online but they all look different 🫣 I know there will still be some bits I need to change and edit, probably cut - But I’m at a point of going in circles. I just want to get the treatment ( outline ) solid, before going on to the first draft script. ( also character descriptions, I have written out in my notes. - not yet added it on to a page as I am not too sure where I add it or what document to add it to or if it’s a separate document 🫣. ) Thank you all so much. :) Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Hello everyone! As I know we're all working on our own stories, I was curious about which stage of the process you are at. I'm currently outlining my story. I hope I will be done in the next 2 weeks or so (with revisions). Would love to hear about your process :)

Hello to you all

Morning guys. Last nights call was really great. And it was so nice to meet everyone. The scripts that David went over- guys. They were amazing. Although a little stuck on the 4th draft of my treatment. I didn’t want to let it block me through a creative spark. So I thought I would Write at least the opening scene of my script Through out my whole process before even writing the first draft. I picked apart the movie The Crow ( 2024 version - with bill skarsgard) . As tone wise. That’s present in my movie. I’ve watched it soo many times. And I wrote a beat sheet for it. That helped me get through my first draft. I worry now that the set up /structure is too close to the crow. I think that’s why I am going around in circles with my treatment. As I want my movie to stand alone with hints of the movies that have inspired it 🫣 But I thought I’d share the opening scene with you all as I am rewatching for the 100000th time ( I love this movie but can’t find the script ) as I think it’s quite a powerful opening scene. ( imagine as a horse girl though - actually the first time I put this movie on a few weeks ago i actually turned it off. Horses and dogs dying as the first scene 😭. So glad I found this movie though. It’s easily become a favourite) I hope you’re all well. And having a fabulous day. I can’t wait to see what you all get up to.
