When Creativity Starts to Feel Like a “Have To”
Quick question💜 Is there a creative thing you do for your family that you feel like you have to do? Maybe you’re the one who always bakes, decorates, plans the fun stuff, makes things special, or creates the memories. Your family enjoys it—but they don’t really ask for it. You just feel like it’s your job. Sometimes our creative gifts slowly turn into expectations we put on ourselves. And over time, that can make something we love start to feel heavy. So let’s talk about it 👇 What’s one creative thing you feel like you always need to do for your family? No fixing. No guilt. Just awareness and honest sharing 💜

@Christine Ross Oh I know that feeling... I had the same with toothpaste... And my son didn't want to use any other one than the one I was making. 😅 I did manage to get out of this habit though, because that felt like the extra thing I have to make that I can't handle anymore.

@Christine Ross I went on a strike. It was tough but eventually he got used to another one (he was using it very occasionally so he new the taste)
Stress and Relaxation
What do you go to when you feel stressed or just need to relax? This past week, I had a moment where I realized… wow, I’ve been way more stressed than I thought 😅And funny enough, trying to force myself to relax just made me feel more tense. Then something unexpected happened. I started working on a tracker for our upcoming challenge, and when I shut my computer off, I noticed I felt totally calm. Being in my creative zone relaxed me more than wax melts, playing solitaire, or even reading—and I love reading 🤦🏽‍♀️ It reminded me that real relaxation isn’t always what we think it should be. So I’m curious 👇 What actually works for you? What makes your body relax so much that time just flies by? Drop it below 💜

Happy Sunday & Hello February 🌸
Mama, Happy Sunday and Happy February 1st! A new week is starting. A new month too. Reject all pressure to do everything right and embrace a fresh chance to begin again. Let’s start this week with something good 👇 Share one simple affirmation for yourself this week. It can be short, like: “I’m doing my best" “I’m allowed to go slow" “I can handle this" Say it for yourself—or say it for another mama who might need it today 💜 Let’s start February feeling supported and encouraged together.

"You are not your emotions" (we had our homeschooling test this morning and that was not fun...)
START HERE: Welcome to the Creativity & Clarity Community! 💛
Hey Mama, so glad you’re here. This is your space to finally turn your creativity into action—without the overwhelm, the guilt, or the spinning wheels. Whether you’re crafting, designing, baking, or DIYing, we’re here to help you reclaim your creative identity and see your ideas come to life. Here’s how to get started: 💥Step 1: Explore the Classroom. Soon you will find everything you need to get moving. 💥Step 2: Introduce Yourself Let’s get to know each other! Drop a quick intro: - Your name & a little about your creative interests - One creative goal you’re working on right now - Something that excites or scares you about reclaiming your creativity 💥Step 3: Share with the community—what is your favorite creative memory? Read what others are sharing, show support, and comment. 💥Step 4: Check out the support options of this community: https://www.skool.com/the-creative-spark-circle-8923/plans I'll go first 👇 My favorite memory (well, I have several) was when I was creating the graphic for my son's Christmas present 2 years ago. It was supposed to be a surprise, but I needed input from him because I was going to put it on a tumbler. The final design did end up being a suprise 😁. Take a deep breath and dive in. Let's get creative together. Christine

Just Checking… Did You Plan Any Fun?
Hey mama 🌸 Quick question before the week gets busy with kids, messes, and a million “mommmm” calls. What’s one fun thing you want to do this week?🤔 It can be creative, silly, messy, or just something that makes you smile. Maybe it’s painting just for fun, dancing in the kitchen, starting a project, or sitting down with a drink and no one talking to you for five minutes 😅All of that counts. This is your reminder that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be fancy. Fun matters too. Tell us below—what fun thing are you planning this week? 💜
