Unfinished Doesn’t Mean Failed 🫟
Let’s talk about something totally normal. Most of us have an unfinished project sitting around. Maybe a craft you started. A notebook with ideas. Something you meant to finish “one day". Here’s the truth: Not finishing something does NOT mean you failed. That project may have taught you: - what you don’t like doing anymore - that life got busy - that your idea was bigger than the time you had - or that you learned more than you think - So let’s look at it in a kind way 👇 💬 What unfinished project is still sitting in your space—and what did it teach you? No guilt. No pressure. No “I should’ve finished this". Every project matters—even the ones left undone 💜 If you want, share yours in the comments. You’re not alone.
When Creativity Starts to Feel Like a “Have To”
Quick question💜 Is there a creative thing you do for your family that you feel like you have to do? Maybe you’re the one who always bakes, decorates, plans the fun stuff, makes things special, or creates the memories. Your family enjoys it—but they don’t really ask for it. You just feel like it’s your job. Sometimes our creative gifts slowly turn into expectations we put on ourselves. And over time, that can make something we love start to feel heavy. So let’s talk about it 👇 What’s one creative thing you feel like you always need to do for your family? No fixing. No guilt. Just awareness and honest sharing 💜

Mom Survival Tactics 😂
Hey mama 💜 Quick question… because we’ve all been there. When your kids were little and you just needed a few minutes to breathe, what did you do? Did you hide in the bathroom? Put yourself in a “time-out”? Turn on a show and sit very still? 😅 No judgment. No shame. Only real-life mom tricks. Share your best (or funniest) way you got a few quiet minutes. Your idea might help another mama survive today 😂

Family Time
Hi Mamas! 🌸 I hope you each have a great weekend. As you think about and plan your own personal fun time also take time for family. We tend to feel guilty taking time to do our own creative activities because we feel it takes away from what we do for our families. What if our families helped us have time to ourselves? I am learning that when I whole heartedly give my attention to family fun activities the easier it is for me to carve out my time that my family respects. I have less interruptions which takes some getting used to. And you know what this helps reduce that guilty feeling. Have you found this to be true with your family? What do you do to get some uninterrupted time? Have a blessed weekend ladies💜

@Crystal Gilbert He is 13. I definitely do have more time because he has his interests, but you would think I would use that time for me 🤦🏽‍♀️

It was supposed to be a surprise, but I needed input from him because I was going to put it on a tumbler. The final design did end up being a suprise 😁. Take a deep breath and dive in. Let's get creative together. Christine
