Continuous supply
Now is when things begin to grow at their fastest, and the microbiology is rapidly multiplying also, so as soon as one compost is wrapped up, begin a new one. This one was set off last night and is already heating .

This pile is a week old now and the temperature is stable at 150F, the weather today is much cooler and light rain is forecast, the plan is to leave the heap thrée days then remove the cover, give a quick turn and leave to cure , with a breather tarp.

Increasing Bacteria
Question @Dennis Wichter Is the fungal-dominant and bacterial-dominant two different ecosystems... Would increasing bacteria tend to increased the bacteria predators cycling more life and nutrients in the soil without affecting the fungal world?

@Jim Flach bacterial dominant soils promote annual and herbaceous plant growth ,(vegetables, herbs and weeds)if the soil has a lot of organic content fungi will thrive. So the best living soil will always tend to be equal in both. One thing that nobody mentioned is that when a ecosystem is in balance, assuming the soil is always covered and producing biomass , you don't need to add anything.

@Julie Vigil there's no heavy metal in my pee. Biosolids from sewer treatment plants are more than toilet paper and poop . It's waste water from factories and road run off and anything you can imagine that should and shouldn't be flushed away. In fact we'll composted humanure from you own compost / dry toilet is fine for growing vegetables.

If We depend completely on Home-Grown Edibles...
With the years of drastic climate change, was thinking how would the life be if we wouldn't depend on supply chain, and instead, grow our edibles, organically, for our food? Would love to know your thoughts?

People with the most sustainable lifestyle generally don't shout it from the roof tops , they just get on with it.
Waiting for the last frost date.
It's another perfect day and having been caught by late frost in previous years, planting tender crops too early, it's a period of wait, wait, and wait some more, then go ,go ,go. It seems hard to believe its only April.
Waiting for the last frost date.
