Word of the Week: Replenish
Last week was a lot for me. Super Bowl Sunday. Miles turned 16 on Wednesday. Baseball team event also on Wednesday. Two games Saturday. Valentineās Day Saturday night. And ā as usual ā juggling two jobs, prioritizing daily morning workouts and prayer. Full calendar. Full house. Full life. And limited time and energy. I know Iām not unique. Your week probably looked different ā but just as full. Deadlines. Family. Work. Expectations. Never-ending to-dos. Life doesnāt slow down. Which is exactly why this weekās word matters: REPLENISH To replenish means to fill up again. To restore what has been used. To return to strength. Most adults arenāt unmotivated. Theyāre depleted. Depleted from: ⢠Constant output ⢠Hormone shifts ⢠Poor sleep ⢠Blood sugar swings ⢠Stress ⢠Screens ⢠Giving to everyone else first You cannot lead, love, perform, or build from an empty tank. Replenishment is not indulgence. Itās responsibility. For me, replenishing means: ⢠Protecting sleep again ⢠Water & electrolytes before caffeine ⢠Protein consistently ⢠Lifting and moving ⢠Breathing before reacting ⢠Quiet time with God Small resets. Because the goal isnāt perfection.
