Pivots/transitions
Any tips on my pivots! I skate outdoors 90% of the time. Im not sure if the surface matters as oppose to a smooth surface floor in a rink as much as the technique.I.E. Weight distribution, head turn snap etc. Feedback welcome and appreciate it.

Looking good my man! While pivots (or 3 turns), are easier on a rink surface imo, you 100% can do them on any surface. I like to call them snaps because the quicker you do them the better. Realizing that your upper body leads then you tighten your core to bring the lower body back with the upper if what unlocked them for me!

SKATE PARTY EVENT SCHEDULES?
Can anyone tell me How am I able to see a schedule of skate party events that happens in ATL & CHI? Just any upcoming skate events during the year that are worth attending. Appreciate it!

An event skate calender is a great idea. All skate parties I've been to have been because I knew somebody who knew it was happening, rarely because of online scheduling.

New Outdoor Rink planned for KC - 18th & Vine District
My husband (a rollerblader/hockey player) shared this link about plans for a new outdoor rink in Kansas City, MO historic 18th & Vine jazz district. We have a few outdoor rinks in the area but, those are mostly setup for hockey. Honestly might move to KC. Lots of skating goodness down there and this is the cherry on top.

Keeping social media in perspective.
I know you never get to see the hours others put into skating to get as good as they are online. Tough to not compare yourself when you've been out here 6-8 hours a week for 2 years and can't do half the things they are doing. Guess we gotta lock in the training lol.
