Definitely feel guilty on rest days. But know it’s a must in the long term. I know I can’t exercise every day, as much as I want to. It’s a fine balance between a good thing and obsession.

This week is a deload week, I went a bit longer than the 4th week as circumstances changed. The obstacle is easing off, but a few niggles may welcome a lighter week
This week I used as a reset with just a few shorter runs, so it’s taken patience to not do much. I’m not great at just sitting around, so I guess I can be proud. Not exercising as much and eating more doesn’t help the mind play tricks about added weight etc. Next week I get into a 14 week plan for a half in November - so been doing final planning, using principles learnt from marathon training.
