MOTS-C: The Folate Problem Nobody Warns You About (And How to Fix It)
Derek Note: I feel like we've covered a lot of the well-known peptides and I want to do at least 1 post a day, going deeper in some side effects that pop up and how to mitigate them. I am a peptide nerd at heart and want to provide real value daily in the space. You guys support peptideprice.store I provide as much free info as possible. Drop a 🔥 if you're excited for this series. Let's Jump Into The Folate Problem (I have seen 0 creators talk about this except Dr. Dean St. Mart s/o https://www.youtube.com/@Deanstm) Quick Recap: How MOTS-C Actually Works MOTS-C is a peptide encoded by your mitochondrial DNA that triggers your body to build MORE mitochondria (cellular power plants). But here's the key: it doesn't just "turn on" mitochondrial growth - it forces it through metabolic stress. The mechanism: MOTS-C blocks folate metabolism pathways, similar to how methotrexate works. When your cells detect this folate "stress," they activate survival pathways (like AMPK) that trigger mitochondrial biogenesis. Your body essentially thinks: "We're under metabolic stress, we need MORE power plants to survive." This is the entire mechanism - not a side effect. The folate blocking IS what creates the adaptation. You can't have the mitochondrial benefits without the folate depletion. It's like training: You stress the muscle → Body adapts by building more muscle. MOTS-C: You block folate → Body adapts by building more mitochondria. The problem: While your body is busy building new mitochondria, your actual folate levels are tanking. And those new mitochondria can't function without folate. Neither can your brain. The One Thing You Must Understand MOTS-C blocks folate to trigger mitochondrial growth - this is HOW it works. But blocked folate = depleted folate = brain fog, mood crashes, and fatigue. Most people feel amazing for 2 weeks, then wonder why they suddenly feel like shit. This is why. What Folate Does (Why This Matters)

Thank You - Black Friday/Cyber Monday Wrap Up & Important Changes Coming
First off, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are officially wrapped up for the PeptidePrice community, and honestly... I didn't know if I was going to make it through. We had over 18 sales running simultaneously, and products were selling out literally minutes after I updated inventory. It was absolute chaos. But you guys showed up in ways I never expected. Your support is out of this world, and I genuinely couldn't do any of this without you. Here's What's Changing to Make This Better for You: I'm implementing three major improvements based on what we learned: 1. Every Sale Gets Fully Tested Before Launch From now on, every new sale that gets added to the site will be fully tested on my end before I announce it or release it publicly. The retailers should have been doing this themselves, but I understand things happen. I will not release a sale until I see it's fully working and live to prevent the issues we saw. 2. Price Spike Tracking & Transparency I mentioned this a week or so ago, but it's now official: I've implemented a tracking tool that monitors prices before sales. If prices spike in the days leading up to a sale, I will call it out publicly and refuse to advertise it. If a company jacks prices up 20% and then runs a "30% off" sale, I'm not promoting it. I know a lot of industries do this, but it's scammy at the end of the day. 3. Honest Stackable Percentage Math All future announcements will show accurate stackable percentages. 20% off + 10% off isn't really 30% off—it's 28%. I'll advertise it as such. No more fuzzy math. Moving Forward All of these changes are to make this a better experience for you guys. I'm sorry for any obstacles over these last 2-3 weeks. We're always improving, and I promise to keep raising the bar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I don't deserve all the support you've shown me. Here's to improving peptideprice.store together 🙏 — Derek

Peptide Price Shutdown - Here's Everything That Happened Last Night
So I started randomly receiving messages that PeptidePrice was down. My first thought was maybe I pushed a bug and broke something. Nope. Netlify, my hosting platform, suspended the entire application for "dangerous and harmful activities." But here's where it gets even crazier - they were originally going to hold my domain name hostage while they "investigated." I was told this process could take up to 6 months. Six months. For a price comparison website. I threatened legal action if they didn't release my domain immediately. They did, and I rehosted elsewhere within hours. Now I'm already looking at offshore hosting options - and I've secured one. Let that sink in. I have to consider hosting a website outside of the United States just to show people peptide prices. No real explanation given. No appeal process. Just shut down. Land of the free. Just pay big pharma $1,000+ a month for life-changing medication and don't ask questions. Here's the thing though - this is scary, but it proves we're having an impact. They don't try to silence things that don't matter. They wanted to scare me off. It backfired. peptideprice.store is back and we're going full steam ahead. This just validates how needed this is. peptideprice.store
