Backlinks
Hi friends, does backlinks still plays a major role in AI seo? We used to buy guest posts on fiver had no real value for money end up website linking to bad websites and content . Does anyone have practical advice about this? TIA

We used Press Releases to gain backlinks. Use a good PR distributor and your release will get posted to many 100s of quality website newsfeeds from most of the major mainstream networks and serious media outlets. Backlinks may not matter as much anymore but when an interested customer searches by your company name to check you out part of the results will be the PR headlines on sites belonging to a NBC, Fox, ABC, etc. affiliate. It adds a bit to your credibility.

Why I’m Making This Group Harder to Join
Update: rejecting about 25% of new member requests Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a big influx of new members. Unfortunately, with that came spammers and scammers who dilute the value of what we’re building here. That stops now. Going forward: - No more instant approvals. Every member request will be reviewed manually. - You’ll need to meet certain criteria. This group is for founders, solopreneurs, and practitioners actively applying AI SEO in real projects. - No tolerance for spam or DMs. Anyone caught pitching will be removed immediately. - Inactive members will get purged every few months. Why the change? Because the quality of this group matters more than the size. I’d rather have 500 serious builders than 5,000 lurkers. The value here comes from real conversations, shared learnings, and a trusted space where we can go in-depth without the noise. If you’re here to actually build with AI SEO, this will be the best free community on the internet for you. If you just want free tools, you’ll still find plenty of value on my YouTube, blog, and newsletter. Thanks to everyone who’s been contributing so far. I don't have the SEO expertise most of you have. I'm a 61-year-old entrepreneur on my 4th start-up business and only recently bitten by and fascinated with the SEO bug. I am probably more of a lurker until I have something intelligent to say or ask.

@Jonathan Boshoff Doubly useful for outbound email. People won't read War & Peace. You have 2-5 seconds to get their attention. The Subj line and 1st sentence have to count.
