🎨 What's Your Hobby?
Not allowed to mention "Skool" 😄 What do you like to do apart from working? Personally, I like exercising, I like to spend time on making food, and I do a little bit of reading when I get time. I think those are my hobbies. 👇Vote yours and Comment what specifically 😊

@Angela Perry I know what you mean, it feels so rewarding 😄 Very nice looking loaf of bread! When I'm in the kitchen, it also has to be with music and high energy 😂

📚 Weekly Topic - Personalization (Hidden 💎 in Community Building)
Do you like when a Community owner mentions you publicly? Your post gets pinned. You’re mentioned in a post. I get that small moment of excitement. A quick “What’s happening?" But in a nice way. Personalization is a strong psychological concept. And because communities run on psychology…it’s important to have. It’s one of the simplest ways to build a real Community - not just a group. You might have noticed I do it often in my posts. I think we should do it as much as possible. Without limit. Some good ways that work for me: 🎉 Individual welcoming posts 🔔 Mention people in posts. 🔖 Tag people in the comments. 🏆 Share members’ win. 👀 highlight when someone’s doing something good. 📌 Pin your members posts. I want to give props to @Angela Perry for doing it in her community. She shoutouts a member who’s doing something well in her community every week. 🎖️ An amazing example for us! 🗨️Who else is doing something similar, or thinking about doing it?

@Harvey Raybould I definitely agree. It's such a small action that makes a HUGE difference. It actually might be one of the best ROIs now that I think about it 😄

@Alexey Inyushin I think your community is bigger than mine, you're on the right path 😄 Just try to make that personal connection with everyone and you'll get interactions 💪
New Member Appreciation Post 🙏
Everyone, please welcome @Alli Gatlin 🎉 It's very good to have you, I'm sure we have talked in Chris's group, and perhaps somewhere else? Alli, this post is a great place to introduce yourself - tell us what you do and what your Community’s about (shameless promotion allowed 💙) By the way, don’t forget to check out the pinned comment “How it Works” where you’ll find a link to book our call :)

🎯 3 Types of Members
Improving engagement doesn’t mean getting Every member to engage. Most of communities have three types of members, who: 🙋‍♂️ Always engage; 👻 Never engage; 🤔 Sometimes engage. We want to reach those who engage Sometimes. They usually just need a little nudge - and they're the majority. Easy way to do this is: ➡️ Give them a tag; ➡️ Ask a simple question; ➡️ Make it easy to comment. A small change on your part can make a big difference in engagement!

@Oliver Wing Yep, it's very good to DM people and ask how they're doing, if they haven't engaged in a while.

@Harvey Raybould I see. In that case something like a course or a video might be beneficial.
🛠️ Could You Tear Apart My Skool About Page?
Hey everyone! 👋 I’m working on improving the About page for my Skool community, and I’d love to get some honest feedback from people who are into this game and do it way better than me. I realize you may not be my target audience for this community, so I’m not asking anyone to join — I’m just looking for sharp eyes on where the page could communicate better, convert better, or simply feel clearer and stronger. If you have a moment, I’d hugely appreciate: - What feels unclear or unnecessary - What feels strong and worth highlighting more - What would you change if this was your page - Any areas where the value proposition could be tighter Here’s the link to the About page 👇 https://www.skool.com/your-earned-freedom-8346 Big thanks in advance — your insights would help me level this up a lot 🙏🔥

Here's a few changes you can consider: 1. Pictures - Add a slide that simply describes what your group's about - Add your picture (show your face) - Or your intro video - Add members feedback 2. Description - First line should be your one-liner. Your offer, or your promise, why members should join. E.g. "Earn your freedom by improving your money habits". - Then, the 2nd paragraph should focus only on outcomes. What will members get or improve after joining. - The 3rd paragraph can be "how" they're gonna do it inside. - Optionally, add your introduction and experience for social proof.
