@Erin Attwood Ooops Yes Ma’am.
“Healthy” foods that might be keeping you stuck.
Ever been curious about what "healthy" marketed foods that are actually created to make you overeat and stall on your progress? I just dropped a new video where I break down the 5 foods that kept me stuck, the common pattern they all have, and the one mindset shift that changed everything. Here's what you'll learn: 1) Why the front of the box is "vanity" and the back is "sanity" — and how to tell the difference in seconds 2) The sneaky mindset trap I call "permission to snack" that makes you overeat without realizing it 3) How one food that seems completely harmless can quietly add 8 lbs to your body in a year I show you exactly what I look for on every label now so you can spot the trap yourself. After you're done watching, I'd love to know which of the foods can you relate to and did any of those fool you? Happy Watching 🍿

@Sarit Attwood Love this! And yes do tell me what to do & call me out on my BS 🤣🤣💕. Seriously, until I sent the photo I hadn’t focused in on the ingredients. I was told it was plant based & good for me.
Low cortisol, but still carrying fat?
A client asked this in our Savage Sister Community... thought it would be valuable for you. If high cortisol creates belly fat, why do I still have belly fat with low cortisol? Cortisol is not the only hormone involved in body fat... Belly fat has multiple causes, and cortisol is only one of them. Low cortisol doesn't cancel out the others. Here's probably more information than you care for: 1. Insulin is the bigger driver of fat storage Insulin is the primary fat-storage hormone. Every time you eat — especially refined carbs and sugar — insulin spikes and tells your body to store energy as fat. Chronically elevated insulin (from frequent eating, high-carb diets, or insulin resistance) is one of the most common reasons belly fat won't budge, regardless of cortisol levels. 2. Estrogen dominance In women, excess estrogen (or a poor estrogen-to-progesterone ratio) drives fat to be stored specifically around the hips, thighs, and lower belly. This is extremely common during perimenopause and menopause — even in women who are otherwise "healthy." 3. Low testosterone / poor muscle mass Testosterone helps maintain muscle, and muscle is metabolically active — it burns fat even at rest. Low testosterone (common in women 35+) means less muscle, slower metabolism, and more fat accumulation — especially centrally. 4. Poor sleep Sleep deprivation increases hunger hormones (ghrelin), decreases satiety hormones (leptin), impairs glucose metabolism, and leads to fat storage — particularly visceral (belly) fat. This happens independent of cortisol levels. 5. Caloric surplus / sedentary lifestyle The most basic driver: if energy in consistently exceeds energy out over time, the body stores fat — and for most women, that storage defaults to the midsection first. No hormone needs to be elevated for this to happen. 6. Hypothyroidism or sluggish thyroid An underactive thyroid slows metabolism significantly and is associated with weight gain and difficulty losing fat, particularly in the abdominal area.

@Erin Attwood Where do you start? What do you pick to look at first: blood sugar, insulin, cortisol etc
