Relaxed Community Hangout - Chat, ask questions, and get to know each other
It’s now scheduled, and I’d really love to see you there! 🤩 You can find it in the Calendar section above. 📅 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟔 (𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 + Zoom link 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬). This is going to be a relaxed and supportive get-together where we can chat, ask questions, get to know each other a little better, and talk through whatever feels most relevant right now. If you’ve been wanting a space to connect with others who truly understand tinnitus, share what’s been hard lately, talk about what’s helping, or just spend some time with good people in the community, this is for you. 👌 My hope is that this will be a warm, easy, low-pressure conversation where we can support each other, learn from each other, and leave feeling a little lighter. Would really love to have you there. 💙

Sound of Tinnitus
My tinnitus isn’t really loud. However, it is a high-pitched hissing and very intense. Any one here experiencing the same?
Tinnitus quieter but still anxiety at the top
Today my T is a little bit quieter than the last days but my anxiety is still at the top. I should be more relaxed but I am not seeing that T can be reduced. Any advice?

Sorry… “because I am seeing T can be reduced”
Most people who struggle with tinnitus believe they’ll never get real relief from it...
Over the past 12 weeks, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with 10 people living with tinnitus. Together, they achieved meaningful relief and measurable habituation, and more importantly, they now understand exactly what to do to continue progressing on their own. I’m now opening a few additional spots to walk people through the same structured process. The focus is not on silencing tinnitus. It’s changing how your nervous system and brain respond, so tinnitus stops running your life and your brain gradually stops treating tinnitus as important or threatening. The process has three phases: - Phase 1 – Relief Calming the nervous system, reducing reactivity, improving sleep, and creating early, noticeable relief. - Phase 2 – Habituation Changing how the brain and emotions respond to tinnitus, so the sound is no longer treated as a threat. - Phase 3 – Integration Building long-term stability, confidence, and self-management, so progress continues without dependence. Before anything else, everyone starts the same way: 👉 A free Tinnitus Relief conversation with me (you’ll walk away with a clear, personalized plan, whether we work together or not.) This is not a sales call. It’s a chance for us to: - talk through what you’re dealing with - clarify what’s actually driving your tinnitus distress - map a clear, realistic path forward If we both feel it’s a good fit, we’ll decide together whether working together makes sense. Yours truly, (your tinnitus) Guy.

To be honest sleep is so important. I couldn’t sleep for some days in a row and therefore I was also prescribed some medication now that I will try. Also because of my severe anxiety caused by T. I try avoiding Benzos because of the potential of getting addicted to it. However, I need to function for my family and after a bad sleep I cannot function. I can also not function if I am so anxious that I am paralysed by this anxiety. I feel weak not getting through this without pills but I balanced the risks and the advantages of taking them. I can focus on CBT and ACT more when I am in a more relaxed state.
