To be honest sleep is so important. I couldn’t sleep for some days in a row and therefore I was also prescribed some medication now that I will try. Also because of my severe anxiety caused by T. I try avoiding Benzos because of the potential of getting addicted to it. However, I need to function for my family and after a bad sleep I cannot function. I can also not function if I am so anxious that I am paralysed by this anxiety. I feel weak not getting through this without pills but I balanced the risks and the advantages of taking them. I can focus on CBT and ACT more when I am in a more relaxed state.

And advice how to sleep better with Tinnitus? I had some bad nights and this worsens my T. Thanks.

Hi. My name is Michaela and I am new to this community. Having tinnitus since 3 months. Struggling with severe anxiety caused by T and having sleep issues since some days. My doctors wants me to start with Sertraline (Zoloft). Any experiences? I am worried to take it because some say it worsened their T. I know fluctuations are possible. As long as they don’t last, it is ok. Many thanks.

Hi Joseph, Many thanks. How did you manage to get out of the anxiety loop? I know a lot about CBT and ACT already but I cannot apply them while being so anxious. My T also fluctuates a lot.
