A Point for nimiq.space
We think that one of the biggest barriers in crypto is not adoption, but comprehension. Playing, repeating, "mimicking," and creating are the best ways to approach new knowledge. To move on to the questions: "What is it for?", "Why does it exist?", "How does it work?". "Pixels" Room. by: RUMY. 🤓😎🧐 @Harley NSpace @Paola Caro

✨️CURA: Human Support Constellation✨
1. Concept and Onboarding (Social Coordination Support) CURA is more than just a financial tool; it is an infrastructure for decentralized social coordination. It utilizes the Nimiq blockchain to facilitate direct mutual aid, effectively removing institutional friction and distrust. - Initial Access: Users integrate into the "constellation" by connecting their NIM wallet, transforming a technical step into a meaningful entry into a community trust network. 2. The 9 Technical Design Pillars Following the most efficient development standards for the ecosystem, CURA is built upon these principles: - Data Sovereignty: No external databases; logic is strictly local (localStorage) or lives on-chain. - Frontend First: Entirely executed in the browser (HTML/CSS/JS), ensuring total user autonomy. - Extreme Efficiency: Lightweight design to guarantee functionality in low-connectivity environments. - Humanized Design: Use of graphical resources and emotional animations that transform a transaction into a visible gesture of support. - Network Pedagogy: The interface educates users on how decentralization enables direct aid. - Radical Transparency: Direct exposure of needs and support flows without intermediaries. - Open Source: An auditable and resilient architecture designed for the common good. - Universal Accessibility: Removal of technical barriers for people outside the crypto world. - Global Scalability: A borderless network structure using independent content management for global connection. 3. Operating Dynamics: The Signaling System The core of CURA redefines the transaction as a vote of trust. - Voting Mechanics: Every NIM transfer is not merely a payment, but an economic signal that validates the importance of a cause. - Dynamic Ranking: The application processes these votes to generate a real-time priority list. This allows urgent needs (such as health or food) to emerge organically based on community backing, functioning as the network's "social thermometer". - Direct P2P Action: Funds travel directly to the recipient without custody, reinforced by contact links (WhatsApp) to maintain human bonds.

@Yasmine Romdhane Hi, I couldn't reply sooner because I was out of town. Yes, building trust is the hardest part. The idea is that the mini-app will connect with the personal social media accounts and wallets of those who need support. They must be real people, verified by their own networks, and those who wish to provide support must choose the cause based on their own criteria.
🚀 NimPerks : On-Chain Loyalty & Viral Group Deals for Nimiq Pay
Hey Nimiq community! 👋 I’ve been working on NimPerks—a self-custodial, zero-friction loyalty and campaign platform built to run natively inside Nimiq Pay (and standard web browsers). Our goal is to give small "mom-and-pop" shops, local cafes, and retail chains a plug-and-play way to drive repeat sales, build customer habits, and run campaigns—without complex POS integrations, servers, or databases 🤩 *** ⚡ The Core Features (No Backend, Just Nimiq RPC + IndexedDB) • Auto-Detected On-Chain Stamps: No scanning separate barcodes at the register. When a customer pays a merchant address in NIM, the transaction is indexed directly from the blockchain. The app automatically calculates stamp progress! • Dual Loyalty Engine: - Perk Stamps (Progress Hexagon): Earned per qualifying transaction. Includes a Minimum Spend threshold (e.g., Min 5 NIM) to prevent transaction-splitting spam. - Volume Spend: Rewards customers based on the cumulative amount of NIM they spend at the store over time (e.g., spend 500 NIM, get a free meal). • Cryptographic QR Vouchers: Once a customer achieves their target, the app generates a cryptographic voucher payload signed by their wallet. The merchant scans the QR code to instantly verify it and burn/mark it as redeemed. • Crowdsourced Group Deals (FlashBuys): Merchants can launch viral, time-bound campaigns (e.g., "30% off coffee if 50 people join by Friday"). Customers can register interest for just 1 Luna (0.00001 NIM). If the goal is met before the expiry block, the deal unlocks for everyone who joined! • Hybrid Native/Web Architecture: Features a universal wallet adapter. It automatically runs inside standard web browsers via the Nimiq Hub API, or adapts to Nimiq Pay's native environment when launched as a Mini-App. *** 📲 Try It Right Now! (Proof of Concept) I’ve deployed the app and set up quick-launch integrations: • Inside Nimiq Pay (iOS & Android): nimiqpay://miniapp?url=https://nimperks.pages.dev/

The idea contributes to the p2p use and exchange of Nimiq and crypto in general. I like the idea of loyalty vouchers for purchases, however it seems to me that the adoption of crypto and Nim in particular, in common places such as small stores, restaurants or cafes, can be done with advertising, videos, and state policies that encourage use.
🔨 10 Mini Apps That Should Exist
With the competition kicking off next week, I wanted to share some Mini App ideas that might help if you're still deciding what to build for Cycle 1. These are concepts we haven't seen built in this form yet, but feel very natural for Mini Apps. Feel free to take one, remix one, or use them as inspiration for your own idea. If you're already building something similar, drop it in the comments below. We'd love to hear about it! 🔤 Word Duel A 1v1 Wordle-style game where both players receive the same word at the same time and compete to solve it in the fewest guesses. Both stake the same amount in NIM or USDT, and the winner takes the pot. Target audience: casual gamers and Wordle players who already enjoy daily word puzzles and want a competitive twist. 💌 Whisper An anonymous messaging app where users can send a message to someone along with a small gift in NIM or USDT. Target audience: creators, streamers, and everyday users who want a simple way for followers or friends to send messages with an optional tip attached. 📖 Chapter by Chapter A serialized storytelling platform (similar to Wattpad) where writers share their stories chapter by chapter and readers pay in NIM or USDT to unlock each one. Target audience: fiction writers and readers of romance, fantasy, and serialized drama content. ♟️ Checkmate A 1v1 chess app where both players stake NIM or USDT before the match, and the winner takes the pot. Target audience: chess players who enjoy casual competition and want higher-stakes matches. 📍 Pinpoint A geography guessing game (similar to GeoGuessr) where players stake NIM or USDT to enter each round. Both players sees the same street view image, guess the location, and whoever is closest wins. Target audience: GeoGuessr players, travel enthusiasts, and trivia lovers. 🤖 Prompt Market A marketplace where users can buy and sell AI prompts, paid in NIM or USDT, with instant access after purchase. Target audience: AI users, prompt engineers, and creators building AI workflows.

It's great that nimiq allows a contest where practical ideas can be developed, and also shared in the community. The platform, being so light, makes programming easier to manage
