Marble-ish jar
Here is my jar with polished stones. It’s only 12 years worth; not because that’s all I hope to live, but because I want to grow, and become more creative, connected, stronger, and healthier from now until my seventieth birthday (12 years from this June). I want to hyper-focus on these things now, so that the last 25-30 years of my life can hold wonderful possibilities. (It should be fun to put 10 years of stones back and re-start the jar 3 more times!🤞🏼🍀)

I’m so glad you mentioned this, Bonnie! My jars came today and they’re all too small to hold the rest of my life. Thanks to you, I can look at this as a way to mark a midway point. I can use that to trim the sails! Bonus - I will waste no time on considering what measures to take to remedy an order error!
🌟 This Week’s Core Value: Gratitude!🌟
When life feels hard, cut down on the overthinking—and start over-thanking! This week focus more on what you have to be grateful about. Write some "I am grateful... and so I ______" statements. Share these statements + the various things you're grateful about... down below! Train yourself to be a gratitude collector of joyful moments. - The way your dog greets you like you’re a Beatles reunion tour - The smell of rain on a warm pavement - That first sip of coffee that tastes like a high-five to your soul These aren’t just consolation prizes while you wait for the big win. They’re real-deal happiness—hidden in plain sight. - You’ve got 1,440 minutes in a day. Use at least five of them to focus on gratitude.

I am grateful to be living in an answered prayer. Each day, I notice that my legs are becoming incrementally stronger supporting my dream of creating a food forest. I’m still a long way from working even half a day caring for the farm, but I am surely headed in that direction. Magically, the farmhouse I had to sell several years ago to move in and care for Mom came back on the market with the extra acre I’d wanted and I was able to buy it, move in and start the design work. It’s not all puppy dog tails and unicorns. I am wading through some significant family issues. I’ve been able to manifest the help I need with that - bonus! On the whole, waking up to bird calls, being able to see the Milky Way with my bare eyes, 👀, and creating a healthy and supportive sustainable environment is living the dream for me. Planning and creating the infrastructure is a joy that more than offsets any drag and drama. I am grateful that what once seemed impossibly complicated is beginning to unfold. Ooh! And that first sip of coffee!
🌟 This Week’s Core Value: Authenticity! 🌟
Hey, amazing humans! It's that time of the week where we dive deep into our core value treasure chest and pull out a gem that's going to sparkle our path ahead. This week, we're all about AUTHENTICITY! What’s Authenticity Really About? Authenticity is about being your you-iest version of you. It’s about aligning your actions so tightly with your beliefs, that you couldn’t possibly get lost in someone else’s expectations or societal blueprints. Your Mission: I want each of you to reflect on where in your life you need to turn up the dial on authenticity. Which parts of your daily routine feel more like you’re playing a part rather than living your truth? Are you saying YES when you desperately want to say NO? Are you hiding your quirkiest, most endearing qualities because you think they’re not ACCEPTABLE? Create Your Authenticity Statements: Write some powerful "I am and so I do" statements. Brainstorm how to fill in this blank: "I am authentic, and so I _______." Fill in the blank with a habit or action you commit to adopting this week that reflects your true self. Here’s a couple to get your creative juices flowing: - "I am authentic, and so I speak my mind kindly and fearlessly in meetings, even when my voice shakes." - "I am authentic, and so I choose to wear what feels good on my body and soul, not what fashion dictates." Share Your Statements: Drop your authenticity statements in the comments. Let’s inspire each other with the unique ways we’re choosing to live our truest lives. Who knows, your statement might just be the nudge someone else needs to make a similar brave choice! Let’s support each other in being the most authentic versions of ourselves. Because remember, life's too short for anything less! 🌈💥 xo, Karen

Most recently, authenticity for me shows up as setting healthy boundaries because my energy is worthy of protection and clarity.
🌟This week's Core Value: Curiosity🌟
If you want to avoid regrets, you must regularly ask: “Why did this happen?” and “What can I learn from this?” And “What if I tried something new or different?” Otherwise, you’ll keep repeating negative patterns—and never learn any lessons from your pain. Curiosity will encourage you to evolve. It will ensure that your stories are peppered with “and then I tried” instead of “and then I gave up.” As you go through your week, think about where being more curious can help you! And share your stories and "I am and so I do" statements below!! I am CURIOUS to hear what you share! :) :)

I am curious, therefore I - am becoming an expert at flipping the script and noticing when it is necessary to do so. - am designing and gradually developing a food forest that 90-year-old PJ can manage - concoct alternative ways to move from here to there when the path seems blocked - know that the key to a good plan is its flexibility - actually read studies cited in headlines to better understand the significance of the results and to learn how the study was funded - am a fan of alternative uses for everyday objects

Greetings, fellow defiant daffies. One of the first to signal spring in my garden. Some years, it pops up, is snowed upon and survives the freeze! I could use more of that resilience in my life. You? Cheers, PJ

Unfortunately, there will be no new doggie pix or stories from me just now. Though my heart says yes to the rescue, my brain disagrees. She's simply not a good fit for this girl. The good news is that the local rescue will receive a substantial donation of food and treats! I am a wellness warrior. Having received a 'garbage can' diagnosis of MS in 2000 or so, it never felt quite right to me. I was compliant for about 9 years, depressing my immune system with the latest and greatest medication; I even participated in a Yale University study involving numerous MRIs with contrast. I was compliant until my health started going down the tubes. I was mortified to be falling down in parking lots after wetting my pants! The medical community had no help to offer, so I turned to a counselor for help in developing better coping mechanisms to manage as my health declined. Lucky me! The counselor also led a Lyme Disease support group and she turned me on to a Lyme savvy Naturopath nearby. Not everyone was supportive of this turn of events even though my health began to improve tremendously. Even the doctors. I depressed my immune system according to medical protocol for 9 years as my health was declining. I've been supporting my immune system for the last 14 years with improving health, yet the MDs will not change my diagnosis to Lyme Disease despite the clear and persistent evidence. It ain't over yet! 😊
