So is the colorwork in this sweater - fair isle? I’m so confused about what fair isle is and the different between it and stranded colorwork.

I’m doing size 4 and the pattern repeats work out fine after sleeve separation. I started doing the faux seam after separation, at the end of Clue 3 but then I was so excited to get going with clue 4 that I forgot about it for about 10 rounds…. So I made the decision not to worry about it. Plus I’m not doing any waist shaping so I think it looks fine without that faux seam. Anyone else in my boat?

I love experimenting with different knitting methods and clue 3 is perfect to practice on! I started out continental holding both yarns in the left hand. But that got fiddly when catching floats (I like my floats no longer than 3 st). So today I tried dominant color in left continental and background color in the right English/flicking. Outside of initial awkwardness / I’m loving this method for trapping floats! Im learning so many new things in this knit along!

I usually knit while watching TV. Started Clue 2 this morning and picked The Pitt. It’s not going well - ha ha . I’m already in the 4th episode, but only on row 2. I keep messing it up, frogging, starting over. 🤪
