Coffee: The Mood Booster and Daily Ritual… Could It Become a Luxury One Day?
For centuries, coffee has been more than just a drink—it’s a daily ritual, a source of energy, and a moment of comfort. With every sip, it awakens the senses, sharpens focus, and lifts the mood by stimulating dopamine production, the brain’s "feel-good" chemical. But behind every cup of coffee lies a complex journey that begins in coffee farms, many of which are now under threat. Climate change, rising temperatures, and plant diseases are putting coffee production at risk, especially for the popular Arabica beans. Some studies suggest that suitable coffee-growing areas may shrink significantly in the coming decades, potentially driving up prices and making coffee less accessible. Could we be heading toward a future where coffee is no longer an everyday pleasure but a rare luxury? Or will innovation and adaptation ensure that our morning cup remains a staple of daily life?

@Naureen Amjad Exactly! As long as there’s love for coffee, we’ll find a way to keep the cups full, the ideas strong, and the caffeine flowing. The future might brew up some surprises, but hey—that’s part of the adventure!

@Jonathan López Climate change is significantly impacting coffee production, with arabica bean prices hitting their highest levels in 50 years due to droughts in Vietnam and Brazil. In the future, visiting coffee-growing regions to purchase supplies directly may become an attractive option, especially with the development of packaging technologies.

Owning your own coffee shop is a fantastic dream—and for some of you, already a reality. But the journey to launching a successful coffee shop involves many important steps. "This question needs some explaining—just like espresso needs the perfect pressure! ☕️ Opening a coffee shop isn’t just a dream; it’s a journey full of planning and challenges. Some might think the first step is picking the right espresso machine, but in reality, it all starts with market research, understanding the competition, and defining your café’s identity. Without that, you might end up selling coffee… but with no one to drink it! 😅"

Removing the “parchment” after grinding coffee? This question is like the eternal debate about pineapple on pizza—everyone has their own opinion! ☕ If you’re a purist: parchment can give your coffee an inconsistent flavor, so you can get rid of it with a light puff, or shake the flour like a magician scattering stardust! 🌪 If you’re a natural and spontaneous person: leave it! In filtered brewing methods, it will float away like an autumn leaf on a river of espresso. In the end, coffee is a personal experience, so don’t let anyone dictate how you enjoy your caffeine journey!
What is your favorite coffee to make/drink?
Depending on what part of the world you live in, there are so many ways to drink coffee. From Cafe Lungo (Italy) to a Carajillo (Mexico)

"That's a tough choice! Coffee is like art—each style has its own charm. Sometimes, I enjoy the bold intensity of an Italian espresso; other times, a smooth cappuccino feels just right. But on colder days, nothing beats the rich aroma of Arabic coffee. What about you? How do you like your coffee?"
