Being smaller than someone
Since it’s my first year playing high school football I want some tips. My coach are wanting to put me on varsity. But my question is what moves give me better leverage to a dude bigger than me

A ghost rush if you’re fast and at that D-end spot will definitely get you a lot of pressure and just stick in the weightroom, one person I get a lot of lifts from for power and explosiveness is Kemari Copeland on TikTok or Instagram, he helped me with all of the power and strength I was lacking
Aggressive Tackle
Anyone got any tips for going up against an aggressive tackle. Like one who just rams into you like it’s a run play even when it’s a pass play. I’m a freshmen so I’m not that strong yet so everytime I go up against him I just get toyed around with.( he also has very long arms)

I had a teammate who was exactly like that and he’s about to go to UBC but how I dealt with it was I would try to get off the ball and beat him to his spot and as soon as I saw him shoot his hands I would try use his strength and power against him by hitting his arms down or pulling him down whenever he would try out all of his weight onto me when trying to drive me back, make an olineman pay for trying to use strength more than technique
Pass rush moves for D End
Anyone got any pass rush moves that I can use while in a 5 tech.

One I’ve been working on is a fake long arm into a ghost rush and as long as you’re really fast and can get your shoulder down it should work most of the time and if it doesn’t then you can resort to a real long arm or surprise them with a cross chop
Holding during 1 on 1s
Whenever I try ripping or spinning, basically trying to do any move the other guy holds me and I can't do anything. How do I fix this?

Work on getting their hands off of you as fast as possible or use speed to make them not touch you at all, try getting control of their wrists so you can get the hands away from you as effectively as possible
Getting better hands of the snap
My main struggle is just my hands i struggle to work any moves other then the bull rush

Out of a 3 I like to keep my hand right below my chin so it’s easy to extend and I don’t lower my hands or bend them because the olineman will get his hands on you first but one of the most important things I was taught is to always play in your gap and attack half a man, always attack the outside shoulder and never stay square with the oline because that’s where I used to struggle with the most, then I played in my gap and got in the backfield so much more
