New GPT Just Dropped in the Library: Visual Strategy Architect for Blogs
If you or your clients are posting blogs without an image strategy, you're leaving attention, SEO, and conversions on the table. This new MapsLiftOff-exclusive GPT isn’t for generating images—it’s for generating structured image strategy. It analyzes your blog post, breaks it into sections, and then creates a JSON blueprint for each visual your article needs—starting with the hero, through each key section, and ending with optional CTAs or infographics. Each JSON spec includes: - Title and rationale for the image - Technical + design guidance (brand tone, composition, color) - Accessibility and contrast notes (WCAG 2.1 AA) - SEO filename prompts and alt-text - Conversion psychology cues (where it needs to support the CTA) This is built for teams using AI workflows, designers needing structured briefs, or SEO-focused agencies building client content systems. Drop in the full blog content, and the GPT returns one image blueprint at a time—starting with the Hero. Each one is a clean, use-ready visual directive you can hand off to a designer or use in an AI art generator. The goal: help your content perform better, faster, and without creative guesswork. Live now in the Library. Test it out and give your posts a strategic visual layer that drives clicks and keeps readers engaged. (Tutorial Video processing Now)

Mike, I don't see this in my library yet.
MLO Office Hours: Real-Time GEO Stack Planning
I’m currently in the middle of a full site redevelopment project. The SILO is rebuilt. The supporting articles are mapped. The blog calendar is in place. Now it’s time to structure the GEO stack. In today’s Office Hours, I’ll walk you through the exact process I’m using to:• Identify which GEOs to target• Map out 6 months of GEO-focused content• Organize and document the entire plan inside a simple tracking spreadsheet This session is not theory. It’s an inside look at a working project and the process behind it. You’ll see the shortcuts, the structure, and how to apply the same framework to your own site or client builds. If you want to understand how to do GEO stacking without guessing, I’ll see you inside. Link is inside SKOOL on the Calendar 11am PST 2pm EST

It would be nice if all the recordings were available.
Tracking tools
I'm curious what tools you all use for tracking results for local businesses? Obviously, some tools track different metrics, but I'm evaluating my current stack to see if there are better options...stuff like listings, GBP, voice search, rankings, etc. Options that might include Bright Local, Local Viking, Advice Local, others? What do you recommend that's affordable, includes more than one service, offers client reporting?

Thanks for your thoughts, it's helpful to re-evaluate, and also decide what metrics the client is really asking for in order to decide if new subscriptions are necessary. I haven't tried Local Falcon, but have used Bright Local for the grid (and most of other things they offer). I've used MyWebAudit. com for initial audits, and their GBP report has a decent geo-grid; I need to re-run the audit and pay for it each time I want a new one.
[REPLY REQUESTED] You’re about to vanish from local search — and not even know it
Hey there, This might be the most important post you've read in the last year. There’s a massive shift happening right now in local search — and most agencies and business owners have no clue it’s already affecting them. It’s not just about Maps rankings or website traffic anymore. That was the last game. The new game? AI-driven platforms — like ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Alexa — are now answering people’s local questions directly… ...without showing your website. ...without showing your map listing. This is what’s called a zero-click search — and it’s exploding. And not just on Google, but directly in chat bots. Soon, most people will only get their answers inside a chat bot. No one clicks. No one visits. They just read the answer and move on. The Big Fat Problem: If your business — or your client’s — isn’t showing up in those answers, you're gone. No clicks. No calls. No visibility. Just… missing from the conversation entirely. And here’s the kicker — you won’t even realize it’s happening. Your rankings might still look fine. Your site traffic might not tank. But leads will slow down. Clients will start asking questions. And you’ll have no idea why. This is exactly like the Maps vs Organic wake-up call back in 2016 or so, but now it’s happening across every modern search surface — and it’s spreading fast. We’ve been thinking about putting together a low cost training that shows what’s really going on here — and how to fix it before it’s too late. If we did that, would you want to see it? Just hit reply and say ā€œinterestedā€ if this sounds like something we should put together. Warmly, Brian and Mike Maps Liftoff Team
