Friday 411
Happy Friday, everyone! I woke up today feeling motivated… but I didn’t make it into my 9-5. Honestly? I’m just tired — physically and emotionally drained from showing up every day. And I realized, I want control of my life. I’m 26, a mom of 2, a full-time student, and I work a full-time job. It’s exhausting. And I think a lot of us feel this — you grind, you show up, but it’s never enough. That’s why when I hear @Marquita Leonard say things like, “That job alone won’t do it, so what can you do to make passive income?” or “1 hour a day to work toward your goal” — it really hits. And honestly, jobs themselves take a lot from you. They cost your energy, your peace, your time. So today, I decided to take a day for me — mentally and emotionally. I’m using it to work on this program, catch up on school, and just organize my thoughts. I have a million ideas and so much knowledge, but not enough action yet. Today, I chose action for myself. To make up for the time I missed at my 9-5, I’m also going to DoorDash for a few hours. Taking care of myself doesn’t mean I’m slacking — it means I’m being smart and balancing my life. Take your PTO, take a mental health day, do something for you. Prioritize yourself. That job can replace you tomorrow, but if you make yourself your own boss, your own income source — you’ll never have to worry again. I hope everyone’s day gets better, and your future looks brighter. Let’s make it happen!

Weekly Discomfort Action
This is an action I took before I joined the group, but would like to share. I have been at my current job as a medical dispatcher for 3 years. I decided to step out my comfort zone on July 28 and went back to school to become a medical assistant. It’s a small WIN for me! This will give me the opportunity to increase my income and not settle for positions that no longer serve a purpose in building a better financial future for me and my children. With consistency and dedication I will graduate in the Spring of 2026🙌🏾

Group Reflection-Boundaries
Where in my life have I allowed people to cross lines too often? I've allowed people to cross the lines emotionally and relationally. I will not be disrespected and used because people feel like I owe them something. What boundary would immediately give me more peace if I set it today? Relational boundaries: • not giving in due to guilt. •being called selfish/ungrateful when I don't do what they want me do. How can I hold myself accountable to enforce this boundary? I will only offer my time and support, when/what I deem necessary, when I am mentally and physically capable. Access Revoked. 🙂‍↔️🙅🏾‍♀️🚫
