In June, I faced a major setback when I fell and cracked my hip, leaving me out of work until October 23. But even in the middle of this storm, I’ve pulled out some powerful lessons. 💡 I’ve learned the importance of always planning ahead, building an emergency fund, and creating multiple streams of income because life can change in an instant. I’ve realized how vital it is to stick to a budget and not overspend. This season has taught me that setbacks don’t come to stop us—they come to prepare us, strengthen us, and remind us to build wisely for the future. 🙏🏾💪🏾 “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.” – Proverbs 21:5 ✨

🌹 In the midst of my family’s grief, I chose to serve. I catered the repass, decorated the building, and stood by my loved ones with love and support. What began as a simple act of service became an open door for new opportunity. ✨ The Word reminds us: “The greatest among you will be your servant” (Matthew 23:11). By serving, we position ourselves for God’s favor, and in due time, He makes room for our gifts (Proverbs 18:16). I am thankful that even in sorrow, God allowed my service to blossom into something greater. 🙏🏾💜

Here’s how I taught confidence forward this week. ✿ After receiving progress reports I sent my 10 year old into Crumbl to order cookies without me. Just her, the employees, and debit card. I thought she would place her order verbally, but she chose the kiosk and came out with a 4-pack. 🍪 🤗

This is how I taught my child about money this week: we are saving chore money using the jar system. Chore money normally goes to the Greenlight Card, but this week it's coins + cash going into a make shift bank 😂 this way she can see it & not just swipe it like her Mama.
