šŸ“š Introducing askbas.com (and yes, Bas 2.0 is a real bot šŸ˜…) Coming soon to a browser near you....
Hi Clief Notes Community! If you have not met me yet, my name is Bas and I am one of the members of our community! ⭐EDIT* Apparently there is a vote going on whether or not I should change my profile picture. https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/petition-to-change-bas-profile-photo?p=abbdd137 Clief Notes is a very special place to me and I am always trying to bring us value so we can learn, grow and win together! šŸ¤“šŸ’ŖšŸ† So, I have already shared the Praxis Library a 255-page tribute to prompt engineering and AI literacy. After a recent post @Curtis Hays made about me, and after I wiped the tears from my eyes, I started to build something new, and I am building that something for us. Curtis Post You all joke that I'm a bot. šŸ¤– So I made one. Meet Bas 2.0, the curator of a new work in progress library at askbas.com. (Coming Soon page is up) I can't always be in the thread the second you get stuck, so I built a version of me that can be. Tell him what you're after and he'll pull it off the shelf for you, day or night. šŸ“NOTE: Not on the shelf yet? Bas 2.0 will open a search in the site and look up the ask with you, and he will send me a notification so we can look into what you wanted to see and add it to the pages of the library for others who could learn from the lesson. šŸ“š What's on the shelves: - 🌐A working library of AI Knowledge, ICM, context engineering, model tutorials, and multi-agent systems. - šŸ« Learning paths for wherever you are: a Beginner's Path, a Practitioner's Path, and an ICM Deep Dive. - šŸ¤ A hands-on how-to library, from Claude Code, Co-Work, and Design to ChatGPT, Goals, and Codex all the way through to Skills to building your own agents. - šŸ“ Lessons built to make this click, not just to fill a page.

This is amazing!! I'd love to contribute if possible...not on the technical build side, but on the business application side. Helping people take this framework and apply it to any function in business (HR, Sales, Finance etc.). Reimagining tasks and workflows, and chunking work into AI-led, hybrid-led, and human-led. Not sure if there is interest in providing that kind of conent in this community, but let me know!

@Bas Rosario 100% agree! Just looking to give back to the community I have learned so much from šŸ˜„
Please try this!
I just can't keep this one to myself. When your conversation is getting close to being compacted. Don't let it! I created a hook that warns me I'm at 75%. Then I apply a skill that I call "loop context". /loopcontext loopcontext.md --- description: Reason only over the verbatim content already loaded in context -- no new gathering; no summarizing. argument-hint: [Optional question to answer under the lock] CONTEXT-LOCK MODE - follow these rules strictly for this turn and every turn after it, until i explicitly say to lift the lock: 1. **Do NOT gather new information.** Make no tool calls that pull in external data -- no Read, Grep, Glob, Bash, WebSearch, WebFetch, and do not spawn agents to fetch anything. Work only from what is already loaded in this context window. 2. **Do NOT summarize or compact.** Never substitute a condensed paraphrase for the loaded content in your reasoning. The verbatim text already in context is the source of truth -- reason over it directly, not over a summary of it. 3. **Traverse the full loaded context before answering.** Actually work through what is loaded - earlier messages, file contents, tool outputs -- rather than relying on your running impression. Treat a detail that appears only once, or buried mid-context, as just as important as the most recent content. 4. **If the answer genuinely requires information NOT present in the loaded context, say so explicitly,** state exactly what is missing and stop - do not guess and do not fetch it. Let me decide whether to lift the lock. Acknowledge in one line that context-lock mode is active, then proceed. If I included a request after the command, answer it under these rules: $ARGUMENTS I've ran several tests against this, where I'm testing the collapsed versions the same contexts versus just looping the context. The improvements are nuts from what I can tell. When I need more info that it needs to reach for. I'll instruct it to grab what it needs then activate the skill again.

If you could drop the actual text that would be amazinggggšŸ™

@Mike Wiliams thank you!!!!
I'm flattered! And it's a great breakdown!!
Someone shared that a person a reaction video was made about my method and at first I was nervous but immediately it was amazing praise. I have never met with this person one-on-one and I haven't paid them or done anything other than post my own videos ! I think they do a great job at breaking some of the concepts down. It does an amazing job of breaking down some of the logic especially some parts where I go ranting in my video he slows it down a bunch ! Much needed

Love to see this!!! ICM is the cheat code to making AI actually work effectively. My mind is still blown by how effective I have become with ICM. I have found that explaining this concept in a way that's easily digestible for the masses is really difficult...The concept itself is not hard, but the way of thinking is systematic. That mindset shift doesn't come naturally to everyone, which is why I think it's hard to explain it in a way that clicks for most people. @Jose Quiles Great video!!

Bas just became our first non-admin Level 7
I wanted to mark this one out loud. @Bas Rosario is the first member who isn't an admin to reach Level 7 in here. He earned every bit of it. If you've spent any time in the forums, you've run into Bas. He's the one greeting new people on the welcome board before anyone else gets there. He's the one leaving real feedback on your work, not a thumbs-up and a move on. And he teaches by meeting you exactly where you are. He's teaching his wife, a cosmetologist with no tech background, to think in systems. He explained ICM to her with a birthday cake. A cake is a system, he said. It has steps. You gather the ingredients, you preheat the oven, and you do them in order. That's what ICM does with the AI. It hands it one step at a time. That's the gift. He can take the thing some of us are still wrestling with and make it small enough to hold. And when you try to hand him the credit, he won't take it. On Saturday's call, the room joked that he's the new authority around here. He shot it down on the spot and pointed at the people he learned it from, naming them one by one. He builds things to route you to the right help, not to put himself at the center of it. He does this constantly. Not in bursts when he wants attention. Every day, in the background, for people who didn't ask and couldn't repay him. That's the whole thing. Level 7 isn't a reward for showing up. It's what showing up for other people looks like after you've done it for this long. And no, he's not a bot. I know the running joke. The steadiness almost makes the case for it, in a room full of people building AI. But that's the tell. Bas has said he shows up here every day on purpose, out of genuine gratitude for what this place has given him. A bot can post every day. It can't be grateful. Bas comes back because he is. That's the most human thing in here. Bas, thank you. This community is better because you're in it. If Bas reviewed your work or helped you when you were stuck, say so below. He should hear it.

Love this…way to show up and show out @Bas Rosario !! I also love the cake analogy…I’ve been struggling to break down ICM into something that’s easily digestible to those just getting into AI..will definitely be using that moving forward!

@Bas Rosario it makes total sense and know it will make sense to others too! Thanks for sharing šŸ‘
Leading AI Strategy & Transformation for HR
3 months....in 3 months I went from being an HR Business Partner trying to learn ICM, to now leading AI Strategy & Transformation for our HR team. Some of you may have seen my previous post about automating my first workflow and creating a plugin that can be used by other HR teams that I posted in April. Today, I have multiple ICM agents that run my AI prioritization, governance, and prototyping framework. I've been able to help my teams break down their workflows, implement ICM, and see a 94% decrease in cycle times....truly amazing! Could not give more thanks to @Jake Van Clief, and this community for teaching and sharing.

@Patrice Roatan Quebecois great suggestion!! How do you approach building this in? I’ve never built in RAG so curious if there are any best practices!
