Dear fellow conscious creators. I am new to this group, but I have been following Thor for a while and was inspired to join here recently. I have a visionary project that I started in 2019, which never fully came to fruition. This has been a big grief for me, because I hold it so dearly, but I understand now that I was never the one which could bring it fully to life, at least not alone as I tried to do. It takes a village to raise a child, or it takes a group of gardeners to group an abundant garden. As I understand the group here is good with social media, and IT in general I guess, and a lot of other gifts. I have made a little video to share some brief info about the project and included some links to my previous work. Hey everyone, I’m Lars Michael, from Norway and I’m new here. I am looking for sound advice on ways to become more financially independent, so I can be able to travel, work remotely and enjoy more of what life has to offer in tropical areas of the world. I wish for more sun, movement, vitality, playfulness and community, so a lot of what I see and feel in this online community reflects my desires. I am 36 years old now, and have had dreams of this lifestyle since I opened my eyes for it around 2018. I have made my attempts at travelling and to work as a digital nomad, but they were somewhat half-hearted, and I didn’t manage to assemble any good foundation for myself. I have visited many ecovillages though, and have valuable experience from ecovillage life and design in practice and theory. I have a passion also for music, and for arranging and hosting community art events with dance, breathwork, music therapy and more. Someone brought something to me today that I was genuinely curious about exploring — they asked what content on my website was AI-generated, because it was clear my illustrations use AI tools. In the past, a question like this would have completely thrown me into self-doubt. I would have spiralled, questioned my worth, or felt like I had to justify my existence as a creator. But today? I didn’t wobble. It simply helped me understand that some people may need reassurance and clarity about how I create — and I’m grounded enough now to offer that without taking it personally. So I updated my website with a video + some text explaining how AI supports my process, not my imagination. And then I wrote the post below for Instagram — which actually captures the heart of where I’m at in my creative identity. Sharing it here too, because it feels important and aligned: I Tried On All the Versions of Me — And Now I Know Who I Am Growing up, I tried on so many selves. Clothes, hair, aesthetics, beliefs, communities, information, identities, dreams — all experiments in becoming. I was growing. Learning. Searching. Mimicking. Shedding. Becoming. It wasn’t confusion — it was development. I was learning who I am by exploring who I am not. And now? I’ve arrived. I stand in myself with confidence, clarity, and truth. All of who I am — my healing my trauma my imagination my neurodivergence my motherhood my inner child my lived adult my sensitivity my strength my magic — it is ALL part of my creative identity. ✨ My creativity is mine. ✨ My voice is mine. ✨ My way of working is mine. ✨ My truth is mine. ✨ My magic is my medicine. ✨ Imagination heals. I am real. I am raw. I am authentic. I face my shadows instead of hiding from them. I finally love being me. I found my purpose. And yes — I used the tools available to me. Technology. Systems. AI as a bridge, not a replacement — a way to bring the worlds inside me to life so I can share them, so others can feel them, so imagination can keep healing the places where words alone cannot reach.
