A Sobering Reminder About Remote/High-Ticket Sales (and life)
Here’s the simple reality about high-ticket sales: (((More blunt reality from your boy))) 20% of closers are making real money (likely far less) ... The other 80%? They’re fighting over the 'scraps' that are leftover. I see it every day. I hear it every day. And it’s not because the 80% CAN'T succeed… It’s because they WON'T. They: - Stay in their comfort zones - Refuse to truly invest in their own skills (this one is HUGE) - Keep waiting for “easy” offers and handouts (not gonna happen) - Avoid accountability because it’s uncomfortable (hurt feelings) - Then they wonder why there’s a 90% washout rate (or higher) in this game. This is the 80/20 rule in action (The Pareto Principle). And this applies to nearly everything in life. Most people are "dipping their toes" in the Remote/High-Ticket pond. Scrolling. Liking. And worst of all - HOPING. Playing sales rep instead of doing what it takes to become a successful closer. (((Hint: it's spelled - HARD. F*CKING. WORK))) But, here’s the good news: You don’t have to live in the 80%. If you’re willing to: - Bet on yourself (go ALL-IN on you). - Invest in the RIGHT mentorship and training (yes, time AND money). - Build real skill and presence (LEARN HOW to sell). - Stay relentlessly accountable and take ultimate responsibility. Basically, cut the bullshit. You CAN can step into the top 20% (5-10%), where freedom, income, and real opportunity live. The question becomes ... Are you willing to do what it takes to be successful, or is this just another in a long list of "hustles" that you've tried and failed at because you were unwilling truly go all-in and not give up when it "got too hard"? High-Ticket/Remote Sales - The Modern Day 'Gold Rush'
High-ticket sales right now? It’s the modern-day gold rush. Everyone’s running to the hills with dollar signs (and hope) in their eyes. They saw a reel. Took a course (got a 'Certification'). Heard about someone pulling $20K ($50-100k) months. Watching the IG 'influencers', 'coaches', and other Snake Oil charlatans sell the dream. Now they’re convinced there’s gold in them thar calls. And for a select few? There IS. They’ll strike it. They’ll make a solid living from it should they choose to stick with it long-term. But for most? They’ll: - Swing their pickaxe a few times - Get tired when the first “no” hits - Quit after the first dry month (or become a 'coach' after the first good one ...) - Fade right back into whatever they were doing before, or chase the next 'shiny object'. Something I know to be fact after 2+ DECADES in sales: - The ones who find gold aren’t lucky. - They’re prepared. The DO, THE F*CKING, WORK. They: - Learn how to ACTUALLY F*CKING SELL - before chasing the payout - Invest in tools, training, and the right mentorship (yes, coaching) - Stay in the game when everyone else folds after the first empty streak. The rest? They’re the skeletons history steps over. Remote sales is the same. Everyone wants to hold up the nugget. Post the screenshot, drive the cars, work from the beaches, live La Vida Loca! Claim the “closer” title. Few want to mine the rock, sharpen the skill, and take the hits long enough to actually earn it. I’ve been around long enough to watch trends and fads come and go. The 'rush' never lasts, never. But the ones who treat it like a PROFESSION (A SKILL)—not a lottery— They’re the ones still standing long after the bullshit fades. The question becomes ... Are you actually digging, or just waiting for someone to hand you gold? GC
