🥋 Share Your Win (On the Mat or Off the Mat)
I love seeing everyone level up. Let’s celebrate it together 🙌 Drop a comment sharing: 👉 Something you learned or applied from this community👉 What result it created for you (training, teaching, or mindset) Could be anything: - You finally landed that kick you’ve been working on - Your student improved because of something you learned here - You taught a better class - You stayed consistent this week - You posted your first video - You stepped out of your comfort zone Big or small… it all counts. This is how we grow. This is how we get better. 🚨 One Rule: This is NOT a promo thread. If you try to advertise instead of sharing a real win, it will be removed. Let’s build stronger athletes. Let’s build better coaches. P.S. Your small win could be exactly what someone else needs to see today. Share it. Inspire someone. Drop your win below 👇

@Rebecca Rodriguez aw! Thank you so much. When so much is happening to yourself, sometimes it's hard to see the outside perspective that, yes, everyone else too is going through something that is testing their patience or perseverance or indomitable spirit or something. It's crazy. Never did I think I would be where I am now 10 or even 5 years ago.

Ooooo I love studying poomsae. Can't wait! Do you have an idea of how deep you want to go with the seminar. All the way up to world class competition style? Or local competition style. There's so many levels! I can't wait!

I was always told lower kick and more correct is always better then higher, less correct kick. Also, Does anyone here know the "cheek shake" technique. My kids just figured out how to do it.
Super clean Daily Routine 🧼🫧
What I like to do before every class is clean the dojang, vacuum, sanitize, and mop. It’s the best way to start class with a fresh, clean floor and everything sanitized before the students come in. Because once they arrive… you know it won’t stay that way 😅 This is my standard, Taekwondo always starts clean and spotless. We also use an environmentally safe product (award-winning), and it’s been amazing. Quick story: at another Taekwondo school I worked at, we used other cleaning products like Mr. Clean. When students came in, they would start sneezing and say the smell was too strong. After we switched to this cleaner, no more sneezing. No strong scent. Everyone feels comfortable and can just focus on training. Honestly, it’s one of the best products I’ve used.

I do the same thing. We mostly use diluted shampoo or diluted dawn soap depending on the surface.

@Anne So are you kidding me???? Who wants to go to a dirty Dojang. That's crazy! Think about the amount if jerms one day of kids brings in alone.

Hi everyone. My name is Nicole and I am a 4th Dan in WT taekwondo. I'm in the United States and am so fortunate enough that I co run a taekwondo school. As I teenager I did my fair share of competitions. My favorite was poomsae. Every competition I did, including nationals, I always got gold. Now, I teach my students competition style. I'm not going to lie, the local tournaments these days haven't gone well. Sad to see but I'm staying positive and looking for new and fun ideas to continue to my love for the art of taekwondo
