A lot of you have been asking about Upwork specifically, and while this group is not about 'how to win clients on Upwork,' I think there IS a place in this world for Upwork discussion that isn't the hive of negativity formerly known as Reddit. Be honest, are you? Last year after my daughter was born in November, I remember it was BRUTAL trying to get anything going with new clients. Then in January, it was like someone turned the 💡 back on. My main client right now has a big dip every year in December too, even though there's REALLY no reason for this industry to have seasonality. It's not like we're installing pools or something. Me personally? I'm doubling down while everyone else is half asleep. I have products to finish, a new outreach system to test, an email list and a group to build... I'd rather be a month ahead than a month behind once January hits. What about you? 🤔 Do you consider December 'lost,' or do you double-down while everyone else slacks off?
