What are you listening too? 🎧
Hey guys, so I have started running and I need some music to pump me up. Please can we all comment and share what we are streaming and playing at the moment. We might all discover something new and awesome. 🤩

There’s a fantastic compilation album that’s recently been released called Little Bangers From Richard Hawley’s Jukebox Volume 2. It’s a fantastic listen, as is volume 1 which came out a couple of years ago. I also recommend a band called The Heavy Heavy. They have three albums out so far and each one is a banger. Try running to The Heavy Heavy Live! You’ll be running up that hill faster than Kate Bush 🤣

Hi George, please could you help me with this. Since I’m getting back into playing I’m wanting to move my top tom from its current position to a snare drum stand? At the moment the tom is in an awkward position and I feel moving it would be better all round. If I were to take the stand from my bass drum(leaving a hole where that was positioned) would this deter the sound of the bass drum? If so is there anything I could do to prevent this. Any ideas as to what’s best? My kit is a 1964, Ludwig Superclassic and that bass drum sounds mint! Thanks in advance.

@George Farrar If I could take you up on your offer of coming round that would be great. I have tried doing as you say however I just can’t get it in any good position. My snare ends up out of position and it can be uncomfortable.

Gadd, Vinnie & Weckl 🤯
Good morning community. Just wanted to share a bit of inspiration for everyone if you haven't already seen this. This is taken from the Buddy Rich memorial concert and showcases three of the best drummers that have ever lived. Steve Gadd, Dave Weckl and Vinnie Colaiuta. ENJOY. https://youtu.be/21N_68vJsYk?si=htYS2iDTn09M26sg

I was fortunate enough to see Vinnie, back in the mid 90’s at Sheffield arena when he played with Sting. I knew Vinnie was his drummer back then so I got to the venue well early and managed to get stage front. He was just amazing! Wearing a rug of a jumper just to add and smoking throughout the gig(back then when you could) Sting was good however Vinnie was just out of this world. What a drummer. Plus guys, check him out on Live At Ronnie Scott’s playing with Jeff Beck. Great vid! George can you show is a vid on how Steve Gadd sticks ‘50 Ways To Leave Your Lover’ by Paul Simon?
