Top Tom Mounting
Hi George, please could you help me with this. Since I’m getting back into playing I’m wanting to move my top tom from its current position to a snare drum stand? At the moment the tom is in an awkward position and I feel moving it would be better all round.
If I were to take the stand from my bass drum(leaving a hole where that was positioned) would this deter the sound of the bass drum? If so is there anything I could do to prevent this. Any ideas as to what’s best?
My kit is a 1964, Ludwig Superclassic and that bass drum sounds mint!
